Secrets Almost Exposed

After the night's escapades and adventures, the two teens slept it all away. The next day, Luka was questioned intensely by his mom and sister about his damaged ankle. Dalia and Luka had decided to keep their kiss from them as they were still figuring out their feelings.

"Looks like you want a peg leg for real, my boy!", his mom, Anarka Couffaine teased. The others laughed at her comments about Luka's injured ankle. Soon his mom left to ring up a doctor for him.

"I wish I still had a mom, you guys must be happy to have a mom like that", Dalia said wistfully.

"What do you mean Dalia?", Juleka asked her based on her response. Soon she explained everything about her past with her, only Luka knew and understand what she was going through. Juleka understood and sympathized with her. For the rest of the day, Dalia didn't go home and stayed with the Couffaines due to some minor flooding in the city. Luka and Dalia were chatting and found a lot of common interests especially their love of music. The only piece of information that she kept was her secret identity as Huntress.

Next Few Weeks...

At school, Juleka promised to keep Dalia's secret from the girls since pity was most likely to come and none of them wanted to deal with that. Dalia soon joined their girls group and got closer to Marinette according to her deal with Lila. They became best of friends, in which Alya took no offense.
(Btw: By now, Alya knows Marinette is Ladybug since during those few weeks Gang of Secrets happened)

With Marinette...

"I feel like I could tell Dalia anything now, just like with Alya, Tikki", Mari said to her kwami friend in her bedroom.

"Umm Marinette, in case you decide to confide in Dalia about your identity as Ladybug, I've been feeling a little off with her", Tikki replied.

"But why? There isn't anything off or suspicious about her."

"I know but it could be a different form of Lila since she wasn't able to get to you and Lila's probably using Dalia to get to you", the kwami said concerningly.

"If she was, I'd be able to tell right away", Marinette answered disagreeing.

"Guardian!", Sass piped up flying towards them.

"What is it Sass?", the girl asked.

"I've been listening to your conversation and a lot of the thingsss Tikki hasss been explaining to you, sort of soundsss like a wolf in sheep'sss clothing. Just like Huntressss and Aargusss!", the wise kwami concluded.

"Come on you guys, you're overthinking this. Besides what could Dalia want from me?", Marinette responded not caring much about it. "Anyways Luka asked me to meet up with him in the park, I don't really want to face him especially since our break-up."

"Well, maybe he's not taking it to heart. Luka's a pretty understanding person and Sass should know. You literally trusted him with Luka", Tikki replied.

"Fine, I'll go and please drop the subject of Dalia guys", the girl said heading downstairs.

Within a few minutes, Marinette arrived at the park and saw Luka and Dalia sitting together on one of the park benches, chatting and laughing. She wondered why her friend was here as she walked up to them.

"Hey Luka...hey Dalia. What did you need me for?", she asked him.

"Well, you're probably wondering why Dalia is here. It's because she's joining Kitty Section as our violinist and she'll need a costume too", Luka answered smiling at the girl on his arm.

"Umm...s-sure...I'll just need her measurements and the colour s-she wants", Marinette replied feeling confused and shocked.

"Thanks Mari, I can't wait to play in the Kitty Section band with Juleka, Rose, Ivan and my Romeo!", Dalia said happily.

"Wait a minute...Romeo?", the girl with pigtails asked, trying to understand what her friend just said.

"Oh um...she's just kidding around. That's her nickname for me while mine is Juliet for her, Marinette. We were reading Romeo and Juliet and she started to tease me about being Romeo, so I called her Juliet. So it just stuck", Luka answered trying not to make the situation anymore awkward.

'He never called me any of those nicknames...just Mari and Ma-ma-marinette...', Marinette thought to herself sadly. "Ok...I guess...um Dalia, if you want, I could take your measurements now?", she said feeling a little down and kind of confused.

"I..."

BOOM!

"What was that?!", Luka exclaimed. The three teens turned to see an akumatized fiery villain, flying in the air and shooting balls of fire in the city.

"PEOPLE OF PARIS! FEEL THE FLAMES OF MY BROKEN HEART!!!", cackled the villain, Fireheart, shooting more fireballs. She soon spots Luka, Dalia and Marinette in the park, staring at her looking scared. "What are you three staring at?! I see these two are in love...TOO BAD!!", Fireheart yelled shooting a huge fire ball at them.

They dodged it just in time and ran away from her. Marinette took this opportunity to split up and found a place to transform. It was a little difficult for Dalia to transform since Luka was running with her to protect her. Fortunately, Luka hid her in a building before Fireheart caught up with them. Huntress was ready to assist in this battle. Well...the villain side of course.
