The Gods pt 1

The Gods are powerful beings that come from a damned dimension that had collapsed on itself and had travelled across space and time before they came across the universe they currently reside in and had brought the planet earth into being. Their dimension had been suffering for eons and was on the verge of destruction. In a moment of desperation, the people of that world came together and put all their power and resources into making five beings powerful enough to save their universe from damnation.

They gathered five key ingredients to make each of the gods. A chunk of dark matter, a star that had fallen from the twinkling night sky, a cut of the brain matter of the smartest person to have ever lived in their universe, and the essence of water and lava. From these ingredients the five gods were born.

The God of fire, Ignus

The God of water, Suijin

The God of wisdom, Omoikane

The God of darkness, Yami

And the God of light, Soliana

They had taken form from the raw essence that made them, coming into being one after the other. The people of that world thought they had been saved, but all the materials and resources that had been used to make the gods had drain their dimension dry and not too long after, the collapse had finally begun.

The world around them was crumbling fast, they had only been born mere minutes ago and their world was rapidly dying. With no other option, the gods had rushed to flee their dimension before it completely collapsed but one of them, the god of light had not been born yet. The others had already fled, leaving the god of darkness by himself. With very little time left and his only exit struggling to remain open, he turned back for the ball of light that had yet to emerge. Ignoring the painful burn of the light in his hands he barely managed to escape in time before their universe had completely collapsed.

With their universe now completely erased, they were left in the vast darkness of space. But amidst the darkness the small light in his hands had begun to grow and from it was born the god of light, taking form in the god of darkness' arms. And when her eyes finally opened, he was the first thing she saw.
