The perfect vessel

Once the entity had it's sights on the vessel, it immediately jumped into action to acquire her as soon as possible.

It only had about a minute of time left before the barrier it had cast breaks, and it's strength diminishes.

Working quickly, Erebus singled out the girl's thread in the web of the timeline and sewed it into the past, where she would be taken by the cult.

Smiling to itself in the wake of it's success, the entity swiftly left the disciple's body and escaped the domain just a second before his barrier was taken down.

Once the barrier was down, the god of knowledge swiftly entered to find out what was the cause of his sudden inability to enter his domain, but it would seem he was too late.

He had found one of his disciples unconcious with the vault to the timeline cracked wide open.

Going inside he soon realized that the timeline had been tampered with. Tampering with the timeline of a universe is a very dangerous thing to do. Even one ounce of instability in the web can result in the carefully woven and delicate threads all coming loose, and the universe destroyed.

Knowing this, Omiokane was left disgruntled as he was unable to fix the damage that was done, knowing that if he messed with the web for a second time, disaster would strike.

Then suddenly, as he was about to leave, he noticed something odd happening within the web.

He watched as the missing thread in the universe's web suddenly became filled in as a new thread was constructed to fill it's space.

A web cannot be stable if a thread is missing, and so a new life was created by the universe, a replica of old thread that was once there.

But two of the same being cannot exist in the same universe, as one must be destroyed to correct the anomaly.

And so, unbeknownst to the cult as they celebrated in the achieves progression of their plan,

Their knew vessel had begun to glitch.
