description: Her ability allows her to mix oxygen in her lungs with magic and convert it into a pink hazy mist that when exhaled, anybody who breathes it in will be put under her control with the snap of her fingers. This control can only last for an hour at base and the more they breathe in the longer it can last. She can also control how long someone is mind controlled and she can cancel it at any given point in time with the snap of her fingers. The denser the smoke the more visible it is. Depending on how dense the smoke is, she can condense the smoke into liquid form. When she is on an assassination mission, she disguises her smoke as a perfume and adds a sweet scent to it to make it more believable.
Personality: Apollinariya is a flirtatious and intelligent woman who's easily able to persuade anyone with her body and her wits. She's known for her love of teasing people until they turn into a flustered mess and enjoys spending her time playing the piano, watching soap operas, and browsing through fashion catalogs. Under her layer of charm however you'll find that she's a very soft person with an especial soft spot for her daughter and husband and is actually easy to become flustered herself. She and her sister feud constantly and whenever they are seen together, they are always seen bickering, but deep down they both love each other dearly. As a young assassin she was rather insecure, feeling as though she was only good for her body but would always be reassured in her worth by her sister.
Backstory: Born and raised in Russia, her and her older twin sister were trained to be assassins from the moment they were both able to walk. Coming from a long line of assassins, their parents were some of the most world-renowned assassins and they were planning to raise their children to follow in their footsteps. They were always told as kids how beautiful they were, especially Apollinariya. Realizing how captivating their children were, they were quick to capitalize on it. As a child, Apollinariya was taught to use her adorable appearance to persuade her targets and lure them into secluded areas where she would then go for the kill. As she grew older her body matured faster than her sister's and her parents soon taught her a new method to lure in her targets. Sway your hips, walk with your back straight and chest out, seduce your targets in any way possible. She was taught to capitalize on her beauty and become an even more successful assassin. Aside from being an assassin she was also a pianist and a model. Although loved by the public for her looks, deep down she felt as though she was only good for her body. Nobody cares about how she felt or what her personality was like, all they cared about was how she looked and how tantalizing her body was to the human eye. Although she was always reassured of her worth by her sister, she still felt insecure inside. Until one day she met the man who would grow to be her husband, Hamaki Momoku. They had met when they were 14 and their parents had been good friends, so they'd come for a visit. At first meeting she quickly realized he was different from most men. Sure, when she teased him and flirted with him, he got flustered but he never objectified her and always asked her about her feelings and opinions. He was the first guy she's ever met to care about her as a person and not an object. She had instantly fell for him and would always look forward to him coming back to Russia whenever he left so she could spend more time with him. A year later however, when he came back this time, he came back with a girl who he claimed to be his girlfriend. She was devastated by this news but tried to be happy for him, however she soon found out the truth behind their most recent visit. According to his parents, the girl was one of the last surviving members of a yakuza group they had thought they wiped extinct, but now she's trying to infiltrate into their ranks and get rid of them through their son. And so, she was tasked with the mission to get this new girl out the picture and to win over Hamaki. After a year of several ups and downs she had finally achieved her goal and soon her and Hamaki got married and not so long after that they had their first child, Toketa.
Fun facts:
The reason behind her and her sister's constant bickering is unknown. All that is known is that they've been like this since they were five years old, however the reason behind it has nothing to do with any past grudges, they simply bicker often because they can. maybe it's just a siblings thing. Whenever they do start to argue they'll push their chests together and glare at each other violently while making snarky remarks about each other.
She became a model at the age of 13 due to her parents advise. At that age her body began to mature, and they advised that being a model would put her in good public light and would help to hide her identity as an assassin. Her sister soon joined her.
Her love for piano started at the age of 3 when she saw her sister trying to climb onto the seat of their parents' grand piano and she joined her as they both proceeded to slam their hands onto random keys.
On a trip to France with Hamaki, she had sampled some of the finest wines the country had to offer and immediately fell in love with the drink. Nowadays she imports all her wine directly from France.
She also developed and affinity for fashion from her modelling career.
