"Drink?" Soap offered me a glass, the drinks Price ordered had came and he grabbed one for me.

"I don't think i should have any tonight." I shook my head at him.

"Have a damn drink, yeah." Soap push the glass to me, i couldn't forget how the Scottish were with their alcohol.

I thought for a moment, i wasn't sure if drinking was on my list for the night.

I heard shuffling from across the table, i looked over and saw it was Ghost. He had moved to put his arms leaned on top the table, his head turned towards Price's direction but his eyes were on me. He didn't have the best expression in them.

I eyed the glass of liquor in front of me, glancing back up to Ghost. He slightly tilted his head at me, like he was daring me to drink, but not in a good way.

I grabbed the glass and downed it, swallowing and making eye contact with Ghost as i did.

"Atta girl." Soap said, taking a drink after i took mine.

I smirked, ignoring the eyes from Ghost and turned to Soap.

"That was strong." I said, i could feel the burning in my throat.

"You'll get used to it."

Our table was chatty, everyone was busy talking. I noticed how Soap didn't pay much attention to Ghost, i thought they were friends but things seemed icy between them. Or at least from Soaps side.

"Y/n, did you hear about what happened in Afghan?" Price asked me.

"No?" I was confused on what he was referring to, i hadn't heard anything about Afghanistan recently.

"I don't think we need to talk about that-" Soap tried talking but Price shut him down and kept talking.

"You should've been there, honestly." Price went on. "Ive missed ya since you've been out."

I slowly nodded along as Price spoke, trying to keep up with him. He proceeded to tell me about whatever happened during this mission, about the rescue operation and the countless explosions. Sober Price was never like this.

"And Soap! He fell right off the roof, busted his ass for sure." Price laughed, finally getting to the point of his story-making fun of Soap.

I turned to Soap, laughing as he gave a scowl to Price.

"I'm gone for a year and you're falling off roofs already." I joked.

"No, no,no-" Soap went on.

The whole table was laughing as Soap dug himself deeper. I leaned into his shoulder, trying to stifle my laughs with my the back of my hand. There was a large sigh from across the table, Ghost. The laughter died down and attention turned to him.

"You've been quiet there tonight, Simon." Price said, taking a small sip from his drink.

"What's there to say?" Ghost finally spoke.

The table went quiet for a moment.

"You haven't seen each other since Las Alma's, have you?" Laswel motioned to me and Ghost.

"I haven't haven't seen much of anybody." I spoke quickly.

"You two got along, yeah?" Price asked. "Maybe you could join him up in Russia next month."

I sat, silent, and staring at Price. I wasn't sure what to say, it's not like i could tell Price no outright. I did my best to dodge the question, mumbling a few this and that's before the conversation was eventually diverted to a different topic.

I decided to excuse myself, making up an excuse that i needed to go to the bathroom. I honestly just needed a break from this.

Soap stopped me just as i got up.

"You okay?" He asked. His eyes were full of concern, eyebrows slightly furrowed.

"I'm fine." I gave him a small smile before stepping out.

I hopped it wasn't obvious i was lying.
