I stared up into his eyes. His dark, and mysterious eyes. He still had on his black paint that he smeared around them, turning the small parts of his face that the mask didn't hide, into a vast and dark void."I hope you mean it." I said, even though i knew he did.
It was weird getting this closure, me and Ghost we're actually talking. I didn't think it would happen, ever. I don't fully forgive him, but honestly our fling was just insanity. From start to finish. I couldn't blame him for everything, but he did hurt me. I couldn't forget that.
"Well" I started. "Do you want or a drink or something? You left too soon to get one earlier."
I started to walk away from Ghost, heading to the kitchen. It was near the living room, in view from the couch. I stood next to the island, looking back at Ghost to see if he was following.
"Ghost?" I asked.
His head flicked over to me.
"You're sure you want me to stay?" I heard him speak.
"Yeah..?" I was confused why he'd ask that. I was honestly just trying to shift the conversion from the previous sad and serious one we were having.
Ghost started to walk over to me, i took it as a sign he wasn't leaving and turned to grab glasses out of the cabinet behind me.
I reached up to open the cabinets door, it's hinging creaking from their sudden movement. I was mid grab of small glass when i felt a sudden presence behind me, and then a pair of hands on my waist.
I looked over my shoulder, seeing Ghost close behind me. I glanced down and saw his hands placed around the indent of my waist.
"What're you doing-" I set down the glass in my hand and whipped around to Ghost, his hands slipping off of my body.
"Your dress is awfully tight.." He spoke, his voice low but still as deep as ever.
"My dress is fine." I defended.
Ghost stepped back and leaned against the island, his hands holding him up from his sides. I saw his eyes travel down my body, going slowly on their way back up. I stayed silent, on edge from his abrupt change in behavior.
"It doesn't seem like something you'd wear." Ghost said.
"We'll you don't really know me, do you?"
Ghost eyes drilled into me. From the way his head was slightly tilted down to look at me, and how he was leaned against the counter top. The constant eye contact and the occasional glances to my body. He looked- sexy.
"Will you stop eye fucking me, Ghost?"
"You know i prefer Simon."
