"Oh wonderful, yes. My chambers will be great." Taelon agreed as some of Rhae and Thorin's things were being moved to the capital. They would be arriving soon and Taelon still had to tell Nyra.
"Taelon..." Nyra grabbed his hand pulling him to her. "The tour went badly, I think we can convince father-"
"Nyra, there's something-"
''We are meant to burn together. Apart we will fizzle out.'' Nyra told him confidently.
''Nyra... love bug...'' taelon didnt know how to say the words.
''What is it?''
"The tour went great. I got married." Taelon informed her and Nyra stared back at him, jaw slacked, eyes wide, her brain not processing. "I married Rhae.''
''Rhae?'' Nyra asked incredulously
''Royce.'' He finished. Nyra looked back at him perplexed
''No no no,'' she must have said no a hundred times as her mind raced. ''This is a mean joke Taelon.''
''Its not a joke nyra. She never consummated her union with daemon. It was easy to get annulled.'' Taelon offered softly.
''No no no-'' she began again
''Nyra love. Im still here for you. You are always going to be my sister.''
''But I wanted more!' Nyra demanded. ''What happened to that? What happened to us?''
''I'm sorry nyra.'' Taelon reached out for her but she stomped away. ''Nyra!''
Alicent cleared her throat as she came up behind him. He turned to her his eyes drifting away from Nyra's angry steps.
"Hello, mother." Taelon mused.
"I heard you got married." Alicent remarked softly.
"I did. She is on her way." Taelon agreed.
"The king said you have a son as well." Alicent remarked.
"Yes, him and little Aegon can be friends mayhaps?" Taelon offered.
"Congratulations Taelon." Alicent told him wishing and wondering what would have happened if she got to be that lucky girl.
"Thank you..." Taelon's face pinched as he looked to his feet. "My father and Nyra are not so happy."
"They will come around." Alicent offered.
"I doubt it." Taelon countered. "She is a lovely woman." Taelon informed Alicent as though he needed some validation from someone that he didnt fuck up his whole family.
"I'm sure she is." Alicent agreed. "Will she be coming here or are you going to Runestone?"
"She is coming but... I don't know." Taelon remarked running a hand over his jaw. Maybe it would be better if we stayed there for a while... until things calmed down."
"I want you here." Alicent offered.
"Thank you ALicent... I best clean up my chambers, never had to keep it clean before but I suppose wife's usually like things clean, no?" Alicent stared back at him.
"I have separate chambers." Alicent informed him.
"Oh, right... do you think she will want her own chambers to?" Taelon questioned.
"No." Alicent said without hesitation. "There is not a doubt in my mind that she would want to sleep apart from you Taelon."
"Thanks Alicent." Taelon kissed her cheek before heading off.

The more Taelon thought about it the more he thought that Runestone was a better option. For all of them. But When Rhae and Thorin got to the capital he saw Thorin's little eyes go wide.
"Daddy!" Thorin declared stumbling on unsteady legs trying to get to Taelon. He moved to them picking THorin up. "Ouch." Thorin said touching his knee.
"You got a boo, boo?" Taelon asked turning him upside down and blowing on his stomach making Thorin giggle out.
Viserys was ready to be mad. Ready to be furious. But then he saw Taelon's smile and Thorin giggling in the courtyard.
"Hello beautiful wife." Taelon said, Thorin still upside down in his arms as he moved to Rhae.
"Hi," She whispered back as he kissed her.
Rhae had to pinch herself still. She was married to a man that actually loved her, that wanted her here. He wrapped an arm around her waist as Thorin giggled out.
"You want a tour? Have you been to the castle?"
"Not in forever." Rhae admitted.
"Okay, let me know what you want, tour, food, rest, up for more exciting activities," Taelon waggled his eyebrows at her as he kissed her again. "I also," Taelon put Thorin back on his feet and Thorin stumbled back into Taelon's legs, dizzy. "I got something for Thorin, I picked it out special." Taelon declared as Viserys came up to them.
"Lady Rhae." Viserys remarked kindly.
"Your grace." Rhae answered hesitantly.
"Father my wife Rhae and this little lad is Thorin." Taelon declared proudly and Rhae looked to Taelon and she saw that pride, in his little family and it made her heart ache for him more.
"Hi, hi." Thorin said as Taelon picked him up.
"Hello little prince." Viserys answered looking between Taelon and Thorin. "Welcome to kings landing." Viserys declared. "Please, feast with us tonight." Viserys requested.
"Of course.' Rhae agreed as Taelon's face scrunched up.
"You know father I was thinking, Rhae is going to need to test out the bed." Taelon mused '' and I just-"
"See you all for supper." Viserys remarked walking off.
"Taelon." Rhae declared slapping at his chest.
"What? It is true." Taelon offered kissing her again.
"That's the king, your father." Rhae reminded him when he pulled back.
"He is quite used to me being a bit of a shit." Taelon remarked. "You have no idea what you got into." Taelon mused rhae stared back at him happily. "I dont want you to think I dont want you to meet my family." Taelon clarified. "I do. I do. I just dont want you to feel pressured or crowded or want to leave after you see the chaos that is the Targaryen family supper!"
"Im excited to meet them." Rhae assured.
"Good. You might change that statement though." Taelon teased, leading her inside. "I have a surprise for you too."
