A lot of things have shaken Makarov Dreyar to the core in the many years he had lived in the world, but never before he would have thought that seeing Eve Sky would shake him as much as it did when his own son had betrayed Fairy Tail all those years ago. His eyes were wide with shock and horror at the sight of the girl, her blank face which showed annoyance at the sight of him was so different than the girl that he had seen fight in the Grand Magic Games.

He had heard the girl had disappeared shortly after their battle with Tartaros but he never had imagined that he would run across her here of all places. And also, her magic was completely different than what he remembered as well. Eve was always strong that much he could admit and during their many battles, he had seen the girl pull off some amazing feats but the power he had sensed right now…it completely destroyed everything he knew about the girl.

Just what happened to you Eve? he thought.

"The power of the Spriggan Twelve," his guide, Yajeel spoke out, "The might is terrifying."

Makarov glanced at him confused.

"Spriggan Twelve?" he repeated.

The elderly man glanced at him.

"The Alvarez Empire strongest," he said, "the ones that were handpicked by his Majesty himself. Miss Enelaros had been added to that list as well."

Makarov was shocked again.

Eve…is part of the Emperor's elite guards, he thought, Just who was able to convince her to turn her back against Fiore and Fairy Tail? Just who is the man they call Emperor Spriggan?

EVE POV

I was following after Invel with both of my hands into my pocket. The walk was completely silent as the two of us walked side by side, thought my mind was back on the conversation with Makarov. I couldn't believe that he was actually here in Alvarez of all places. His presence here awakens many questions within my mind about the guild back in Fiore. If Makarov was here then who was the new Master? Is Fairy Tail still functioning despite him being here? Did they even know he was here?

"You recognize that man,"

I blinked out of my thoughts before glancing at my companion.

"Come again?"

"The man from Ishgar," Invel spoke out glancing at me, "You seem to recognize him."

I let out a small scoff.

"Any wizard from Ishgar would recognize him," I answered, "He is one of the Wizard Saints after all and the Master of one of the strongest guild there, Fairy Tail."

"A guild you were part of," Invel added.

I instantly glanced at him, frowning lightly. Invel must have recognized the look I was sending him for he pushed his glasses up as he continued to talk.
