The next 24 hours was hectic to say the least.
And I was currently pointing a gun at Madelines head, ready to pull the trigger any second.
Now, how did I get here you might ask.
Well, let me tell you.
The night before
"Asteria! Don't ru-" Calithea shouts as we enter the house, "ugh forget it." She mumbles as Asteria sprints down the hallway.
"This is what happens when she sleeps all day in the movie room." Cali rubs her forehead, "I can only hope she'll tire herself out for bed tonight or she won't go down easily."
"Hey bug!" We hear Benny shout, and then loud, long fits of giggles follow.
"Don't worry," I wrap my arms around her waist from behind, "I think Benny's got it covered." I hear Benny roar and more loud Asteria giggles.
She shivers as I whisper in her ear, and begin to kiss down her neck. "Why don't we," I kiss her jaw, "go watch a movie," I kiss her collarbone, "in the movie room." I kiss her shoulder, "alone."
"That," she breathes out, "sounds like an excellent idea."
"Does it now?" I murmur against her soft skin. She nods her head at my words, "well then let's go, love."
I run my fingers slowly done her arm before intertwining our hands.
I lead her down the long hallway, walking in silence, until we come to a stop in front of the theater door. Just as I'm about to open the door, Blades gruff voice calls out my name from the end of the hallway.
"Christ." I mutter, "now is not the time, Blade."
"We need to talk now, Sir. It's urgent." His voice sounds rushed and I can tell he has more to say except he's holding back because Calitheas in the room.
"I'm sorry, amore." I press a gentle kiss to her forehead, "later, mhm?"
"Yeah, I'll see you later." She nods her head, "I hope everything's okay." She leans up and presses a quick kiss on the corner of my lip.
I watch her retreating form, longing to just be able to hold her and feel her.
"This better be good." I grumble.
"It's not. Not at all." He begins walking towards the open black door at the end of the hallway.
"Blade, what happened?"
