BANG!
BANG!
BANG!

I jolt awake at the loud sound of someone banging on my bedroom door.

"What's happening?" Calithea asks, nervously moving closer to me, "who's at the door?"

"I don't know." I pull back the covers as the banging continues. "Go into the library, and don't come out until I say so." She nods her head and scurries into the room behind my bed.

I grab my gun out of my bedside table and slowly move towards the door. I'm about to open the door when I hear Bennys voice on the other side, telling me to open the door.

I sigh and throw open the door. "What the fuck, Benny! I thought someone broke in or some shit, what the hell are you doing here?" I turn around and look at my clock, "it's seven in the morning."

"Benny?" Calithea comes out of the library, probably hearing me yell out Bennys name.

"Sorry, Thea, I need to steal your man for awhile."

"Is everything all right?" She wraps her arms around me and rests her head on my bicep. Benny hesitates, looking at me.

"She knows." I nod my head.

"We found the rat." I clench my jaw, eager to know the rat, and eager to kill them.

"Okay." I nod, "Cali, go back to bed, love. I'm going to go take care of this."

She nods her head and walks back over to the unmade bed.

"Mikhail." Her soft voice stops me as I'm about to leave the room.

"Yes, Angel?" I turn around and see her curled up amongst the all black bed, pillows engaging her.

"Make them pay."

"oh don't you worry, Angel." I smile, "I'll have them begging for mercy." I exit the room and follow behind Benny silently.

We enter the kitchen to see Priya, Nikolai, Blade, Felix, Leo, and Malia. Everyone's standing in silence, angry looks on their faces.

Nikolai is pacing, muttering in Russian to himself, "so who is it?" I break the silence when I enter the room.

"Madeline." Nikolai seethes.

"What!" I slam my hands on the counter. "How do you know?"

"Leo was able to get back into the security system."

"Only took me ten hours." He huffs, rubbing his eyes tiredly and taking a sip of his coffee.

"You did good, Leo." Nikolai says, "we wouldn't have figured it out without you."

"Yeah, Madeline would be one of my last guesses." I sigh, "which is why it's so infuriating. We've trusted her for so long. She's been apart of this team for four years."
