Chapter Twenty Six: All Comes Out

When I woke up, my heart was beating out of my chest and I quickly sat up. I was breathing hard and trying to calm myself down but I couldn't.

It felt like my heart was about to explode.

"Kaden?"

I heard a voice and I looked over to see Aubrey sitting on the bed and reaching for me but I quickly pulled away and looked at her.

"Get the fuck away from me!"

This time, my body wasn't paralyzed and my mind was very much aware of what was going on.

Aubrey moved closer and I was about five seconds before I hit her across the face. I saw her look at me before reaching for me and I slapped her arm away, trying to get off the bed but she grabbed my shirt.

"Let me go!"

She got on her knees, grabbing ahold of my shirt as I was pushing her back. "Kaden, stop." She pulled me towards her but I hit her once in the face.

That didn't make her stop.

She kept trying to pull me towards her as I was pulling away.

I grabbed her wrists and squeezed them as tightly as I could, pushing her away and fighting for my life.

"Stop." She said. "Please."

"No!"

This time, she covered my mouth and moved closer to me.

I tried biting her hand as she leans down before laying next to me. I moved around, trying to get out of her grip but her arm wrapped around me and pulled me towards her.

She held me, keeping me in a tight lock where I couldn't move. I stopped moving and started breathing fast as her hand was still over my mouth.

A tear escaped my eye as I laid there.

I grabbed her arm and squeezed it as tight as I could, trying to make her release me but she never did.

"Kaden.. look at me."

My eyes were blurring from the tears and tightly shut them.

I felt her turn me around but I kept my eyes closed, refusing to look at her.

Her hand removed from my mouth then I felt a gentle touch down my face.

I opened my eyes and saw her staring at me as she was laying next to me. I grabbed her hand that was on my face and pushed it away, staring at her and wanting to hit her.

"I'm sorry.." She whispers.

Looking at her, I felt a tightening in my stomach before I closed my eyes. I covered my face and cried, feeling her arm wrap around me before pulling me towards her.

It took everything in me not to push her back, but she held onto me as I cried.

She started shushing me and after a moment, I stopped crying.

I opened my eyes and looked at her as she reached towards my face and wiped my tears away. I stared at her as she did the same thing with neither of us saying anything.

"I want to talk to you. Please." She gently spoke.

My mind was screaming and my heart was yelling as I stared at this woman. I had so much fire in my chest that I was ready to explode.

"You need to know the truth." She said.

That made me look at her with a questionable look.

"What." I plainly said. No emotion behind it.
