Even though you and Shuri are no longer together, it doesn't stop her from trying to convince you to help her save Wakanda. Not only that, she wants to get back together but will you be able to tell her in time?

Boring. That's what today is, boring. Another day of sitting on my throne listening to the citizens and their troubles... troubles which are more like general complaining. Don't get me wrong, I love ruling my nation. This part is just my least favourite out of everything I do. But it's a part of the job so I can't escape it. Only problem is, the line is rather long which means it's going to be a tiresome day.

I finally finish dealing with the last person when the doors to the throne room swing open. "Your majesty, there is one more visitor. She claims it's urgent." I sigh thinking I was going to be able to call it a day. "Send them in I suppose." I say remaining sat on my throne. Then the escort sends the person in, but the person isn't who I expected them to be at all. For it was none other than my ex. Now what does she want? She's the last person I'd ever expect to see here.
"Y/n. Wakanda needs your help. We're under attack and this is the greatest threat we have ever seen." She tells me. The guards try to stop her from walking closer to me, but I raise my hand telling them it's fine. "First of all, it's your majesty to you now. Secondly, what threat could possibly be so great that it would bring you all the way here? You know full well what happened when we broke up." I tell her. "I'll admit, I was hesitant about coming here but we need every available person we can get in this fight against Thanos. And... maybe I want to try and make things right again." Well, the last part I did not expect, and my hardened expression softens. "Leave us." I say to everyone else present int he room so I could talk to her alone.
I have never seen Shuri look quite as nervous as she does right now. Might as well say what's on my mind. "We will help Wakanda of course we will, but as for trying to make things right... it's going to take a lot more than an apology. "Yeah, anything you want." She says. "Okay, in that case, you have to stay away from your lab for a whole week and I'll have you begging for me by the end of it." I say with a knowing smirk which only increased with the look of Shuri's face. She definitely did not expect me to ever say something like that. But if she follows through on staying away from her lab, then maybe, just maybe we have a shot of going back to the way we were.

During the invasion, I stay in the lab with her to give her extra protection. Hmm, the irony I suppose. Me saying we can only get back together when saving the world involves her being in her lab. To be honest, saving the world is going to be enough to get back with her. But when one of Thanos' minions attacked the lab, all of the Dora Milaje fought against them, but they were too powerful. They knocked out Shuri which really pissed me off. Unfortunately, and surprisingly, I was no match for this guy. Whatever he is.
I gave everything I had to fight off this thing, but it was no use. I fought until at one point, everyone went still for a brief moment. Everyone on the battlefield too. Even the creature I was fighting went still right before Vision grabbed him and flew out the window. But the atmosphere felt as though it went bad. Like a plague was coming to destroy Wakanda. Through the comms, Bruce Banner spoke, "Cap, that's him. That's Thanos."
I saw a giant purple alien thing with a massive chin teleport to Wakanda. I didn't even think it was possible to teleport here and not be detected by the defences. But something about him appearing here made me realise this was the end. If not of Wakanda, then the world. I just hope Shuri wakes up in time so I can tell that I do in fact want to take her back. That, I want everything to go the way it used to be. Deep down though, something inside me knew that it wasn't going to happen. That something bad was about to go down and that this one time, we would not win in our fight against the enemy. As long as I can Shuri before it all happens, that's enough.
