You've basically been raised by the Wakandan royal family after queen Ramonda found you and took you in as her own. You, Shuri and T'challa are basically extremely close siblings. You want nothing more than to beat Thanos' ass for what he had done to your family and reverse the snap.
(A/N - I've said adopted kinda because of my rule that these one shots can be for anyone of any colour. So keep that in mind.)
I fought Thanos alongside Captain America, Iron Man and Thor. Needless to say, we had all lost to him again. See, I decided to join them in trying to kill Thanos because that raisin monster stole away the only family I had ever known. Now, I am pissed and wanted to get my revenge before heading off to find them since reversing the snap worked. Thank Bast.
It all happened when I was only an infant. They said that my birth parents somehow managed to teleport me in the Wakandan castle and left me there. Queen Ramonda herself was the one to take me in and raise me as her own. Even T'challa and Shuri were extremely close. I would often help T'challa and Okoye on missions and sometimes help Shuri in the lab. See, I may not look like a Wakandan, but I grew up there and was raised by the royal family. This is the reason I have spent my time trying to defeat Thanos as well as trying everything we could to reverse the snap.
After Cap, Thor and Tony were all down, it was down to me to fight alone. Or so I thought. An orangey circle formed out of nowhere and caught my attention. It took a moment for me to realise it was a portal opening. And I was so relieved when all three of them walked through. T'challa, Shuri and Okoye. I ran over to them hugging all three and T'challa began chanting for his army to come through the portal. Then, many other portals opened and lots of warriors enter through it. As many as stars in the sky, if not more. There was Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, I know Nebula and Rocket Racoon have spoken of them and are both a member of the team. There were also lots of others, but I didn't recognise a lot of them that weren't part of the Avengers. Though I did recognise Wanda Maximoff. I stood next to her and Shuri as all the other Avengers formed a huge crowd. Cap was front and centre and yelled, "AVENGERS! Assemble!" Then we all charged at Thanos. Thus, beginning the war to end all wars.

I watched T'challa as he ran with the gauntlet filled with all six infinity stones. Eventually, Spider-Man aka Peter Parker grabbed a hold of them but couldn't fight off all of Thanos' creatures. That's when Captain Marvel, me, Shuri, Wanda, Pepper Pots and basically all of us women stepped forward to protect him and get that gauntlet to the van. After that, I stuck with Shuri until the fight ended and Thanos' army including himself all vanished to dust.
Once the war was over, I wandered back over to Shuri and we both hugged each other. "You'll have to tell me everything you've been up to during the... blip." "Oh, not much, same old, same old. Thank Bast mother didn't get blipped though. Don't think I would want the pressures of ruling with all three of you gone." She nodded in understanding. Then, we went to find T'challa and Okoye to make our way back to Wakanda. At long last, I can finally rest knowing that I have my family back. Hopefully, we won't have to deal with anything like this again.
