The entire Wakandan royal family is blipped out of existence including queen Ramonda. The elders make a vote on whether you should become the next Wakandan ruler even though you're not Wakandan but are married to Shuri. Thus, leaving you as the last royal left.
It all happened so fast. One minute I was helping my wife extract the mind stone from Vision and next thing you know, 50% of the universe was wiped out of existence. After the war was over, I did my rounds to check who was still alive. Turned out, not only Shuri, but also T'challa and queen Ramonda had all been blipped. The entire Wakandan royal family. Okoye hadn't been blipped though thankfully. But the whole thing of the entire Wakandan royal family has led to this meeting with the elders.
"She is princess Shuri's wife therefore making her the only Wakandan royal left. Even if she is not fully Wakandan, she's been part of their family long enough to take the reins." One of them said causing me to widen my eyes. I seriously hope they're not saying what I think they are. "I don't know. She is still American, and we've never had an outsider take the throne before." Another one said which still a little hurtful that they see me as an outsider, it's true though. They've never had a none Wakandan on the throne and quite frankly. I don't particularly want the position anyway. It sounds very stressful if you're not trained for it which I am not.
The debate between the elders went on for another hour. At least until one of them said, "we've been arguing long enough. Let's just make a vote on whether y/n should become queen of Wakanda." "Do I not get a vote?" I said trying to turn down the role, but they all just stared at me and then went back to their conversation. "Okay let's put it to a vote. All those in favour for y/n becoming queen of Wakanda raise your hands." The main elder said getting impatient. Lots of elders besides the odd few raised their hands. Great. That's just great. I really don't want this position. "That settles it then." The same elder began. "Y/n. You are now queen of Wakanda. And since you have helped Wakanda defeat her enemies, you shall also become the Black Panther." That was the end of that meeting. The last thing being said was, the Black Panther ceremony will be held first thing tomorrow morning. That gives me not even a day to prepare anything.
When everyone had left, Okoye remained in the room. "What happens now? I never wanted this, and you know I didn't." "That maybe so but you don't have a choice. Come. I will take you to your room for some much-needed rest. You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow." I sighed and wandered to what was mine and Shuri's shared room. I guess now it's just mine. I really hope the Avengers figure out a way to reverse the blip and I hope I can help them.

It feels like forever ago since I became Black Panther and queen of Wakanda and still nothing has changed since 50% of the universe has blipped. Right now, though, I am in a virtual meeting with Natasha Romanoff, and some others from space, plus a.... talking racoon? "How do you handle an earthquake under the ocean?" Natasha asks me and Okoye. This is one of the problems we're facing right now. I turned to Okoye to let her answer. "We handle it by not handling it." She told the Black Widow.
"Well, that meeting was a bust." I told Okoye after the hologram meeting. "How do you mean?" "I mean, I was hoping for Natasha to tell us that there was a way to bring everyone back and reverse the snap." "Well, maybe they're working on it and haven't figured anything out yet." "My point being Okoye is that if the Avengers do find a way to reverse it, I'd like to be there to help them." "That's out of the question, you know that. Royals aren't supposed to leave Wakanda." "I'm not true royalty though, right? I'm still American and I used to be on the Avengers before I came here with Shuri." She sighed in defeat knowing I wasn't going to give her an option. "Very well. At least let me come with you. You may need extra back up." I nodded in agreement.
We eventually got to the Royal Talon Fighter aircraft. However, just as we were about to get inside, I noticed something unusual from the corner of my eye. It was an orange portal opening. Me and Okoye looked at each other confused but she immediately got into defensive position. She quickly relaxed though when Dr Strange appeared but not only that, he had with him the Wakandan royal family! Yay! That means not only do I have my wife back but also; I no longer have to cope with these royal duties and that of the Black Panther! Hmm, I wonder how awkward this is going to be since I'm in the Black Panther suit now.
"Ah Okoye it is good to see you again." T'challa said and then looks at me, almost knowingly. "No, it can't be." He says smiling. I took the helmet off revealing myself to them. "Y/n!" Shuri said excitedly before continuing. "Wait, you're in charge of Wakanda now?" "Not now that you're all back and can I say thank you because there's too much pressure for such a position." T'challa simply laughs lightly, "Fair enough, I will resume my duties as king, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to have two Black Panthers?" I nodded my head in agreement. Shuri will probably be busy in the lab, so I'll need something to keep me sane for those days. For now, though, I'll just enjoy the time I have with her once again.
Ending this one here. So, I had this idea in my head for a while but didn't know how to end it. Anyways, requests are OPEN for now. I'll probably close them soon though to get more of my own ideas in here coz I have tons for Shuri. Don't forget to VOTE!
