You walk in the forest with Queen Ramonda and both find a helpless dog and bring him back to the palace. Though your girlfriends, Shuri and Riri aren't happy but it doesn't take much for Riri to love your new companion, but will Shuri come around or kick him out of the palace?
A/N - I didn't choose a specific breed of dog so I thought you could choose your favourite breed yourself. Also, apologies this took so long I've been so ill lately and uni has been keeping me busy too. Anyways, hope ya'll enjoy :)
If there is one thing in life that I love more than my two girlfriends, its dogs. Not only are they super cute, but they are humans best friend after all! Shuri and Riri are both aware of my obsession with dogs but they, well mainly Shuri is against us getting one which makes me sad. Guess I'll just have to keep trying to change her mind. But in order to come up with a plan to change her mind, I need to clear my head. But as I was heading out to wander around the Wakandan forest, Queen Ramonda surprisingly offered to come along.

We both walk through the forest. The silence not being awkward until eventually she breaks it. "Have you managed to change Shuri's mind about getting a dog?" She asks. I raise my eyebrow. She knew? Of course she did. That's a dumb thing to think. "Um, no unfortunately not." "Well, you know what they say, the ones who are always against getting a dog are always the first ones to fall in love with it." "Wait, you're for us getting one?" "Absolutely. A dog would mean responsibility that would have to be shared across all three of you. And she would have to walk the dog which means getting her out of that lab of hers." "Yeah, they spend most of their lives in there." "And if it weren't for us getting them out every time, I bet they'd live in there." We both laugh at Queen Ramonda's comment. She is not wrong. But anyway, as we our laughter died down, I hear an odd noise that confuses me at first.
"Did you hear that?" I ask her. She nods yes. Slowly, I begin walking towards the sound expecting danger but to my surprise, that is not the case at all. "Oh, the poor thing." The queen says referring to a dog that has been caught in a hunters trap. I kneel down and release him and in return he licks me to death causing me to giggle. "I wonder if he belongs to anyone." I say. "Judging by the fact he has no collar, I'd say he's most likely a stray." The dog which is jumps up at me so that his front paws are on me and I stroke the back of his head. "And it looks like you've just made a new friend." She tells me as I continue getting to know my furry new friend. "Wait, does that mean he's coming back with us? What about Shuri and Riri?" I ask. "Trust me. She's going to melt at this little guy." She says and strokes him too. The dog is absolutely loving the attention he's getting. Maybe she's right. Either way. I'm keeping him whether Shuri and Riri like it or not. "Do you have a name for him?" The queen asks. "Actually, I thought if we're bringing him back to let them name him because once you name something or someone you them all the more." "Alright then, let's head back to the palace." And with that, I pick the dog up into my arms and we just cuddle the whole way back. Doggy hugs really are the best!

When we arrive back at the palace, the queen told me to head back to the room I shared with Shuri and Riri and she'll speak to them. I do as she says so all I have to do is wait. When they do arrive, neither of them look happy. Of course, the dog wanders over to them and Riri straight away is obsessed with the little guy. Shuri on the other hand remains unhappy about the situation. "I thought we agreed no dogs or pets." She says grumpily. "Oh come on girl he's not that bad. In fact. he's very affectionate." Riri says enjoying the dogs company. Shuri sighs. "Mother says you rescued him from a hunters trap?" I nod in response. "Does he have a name?" She asks this time. "Actually, I was hoping you guys would name him." Shuri raises her eyebrow and Riri is excited by this. "Oh come on, if we name him we can't get rid of him." "Riri's right you know." I tell Shuri. "Banjo." Me and Riri glance at each other confused. "What?" I ask. "That's his name. Banjo." "So, this means we're keeping him?" I ask knowing that my eyes light up hopefully. "Yes, I suppose it does. You two are impossible." Shuri says placing the palm of her hand on her forehead. "You love us really. You're just being grumpy." I say with a smirk and Riri laughs and eventually Shuri does too.
Needless to say, the rest of the day is spent with all three of us getting to know Banjo and Queen Ramonda was right about Shuri loving Banjo just as much as us. Maybe even a little more, she just won't admit it because she's stubborn and claims her lab is the only thing she loves more than me and Riri. Of course, even then she's not that serious when she says that. Anyway, I'm just glad I finally have a dog I can share with them both who love him too. Oh, and another thing the queen was right about was that Banjo has gotten them both out of that lab a lot more. Surprisingly, Shuri more than Riri. Shuri will take him for walks with her mother which is good for both of them. Yep, Banjo is definitely the best companion!
