"so.. what did destiny come over and talk to you about?" I asked as I took a sip of my drink
"dumb shit" he said keeping it short
I just nodded ... not finna question him bout it cause it ain't really none of my business

he called our waiter over to our table and she went to get our bill
"I can go half on it with you" I say "you don't gotta pay for it all"
"nah you straight ma. I got it" he said going in his wallet pulling out some cash

after he paid we both got up from the table and headed outside into the parking lot
once we made it to the car he opened up my door for me making me look at him surprised
