"Stop fussing," Luke wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder. "You look beautiful." I had spent the past half hour attempting to find an outfit to wear to the interview this morning. Nothing I picked out felt right. Today I had to make a good impression on the fans. This was my chance to show everyone who I really was. "I'm proud of you baby." I met his gaze in the mirror. "I know today is gonna be hard for you but I'm proud of you. Facing your past isn't easy, I know that. Know that I will be by your side the entire time. Don't push yourself to say anything you don't want to, okay?"

"As long as I have you by my side I can do anything." We stayed there for a few moments, just enjoying each other's company. The alarm on my phone went off letting me know it was time for us to go. Luke unwrapped his arms from my waist, took my hand in his, and led us out of the room.

The van was already outside, ready to pick us up. All the boys were all about half asleep in the car. The way they were snuggled up against each other made me smile. Luke and I made small chit chat as we made our way to the studio.

The nerves that Luke chased away came flooding back when we got to the studio. I stayed rooted to my seat as the sleepy boys piled out of the car. Fans screamed as they were ushered inside. "You can do this baby," Luke whispered. I wanted to believe him, I really did but it was so hard. "I'm here. You're not alone in this anymore. I'm here by your side every step of the way. It's me and you baby."

His words wrapped me up in a blanket of comfort. I felt like I could do anything as long as I had him by my side. He gave me a sense of protection and comfort I haven't felt in years. I'm able to be brave and tell my story because of him.

I took a few deep breaths, pulling up whatever courage I could come up with. Using that bravery, I interlaced our hands. Fans yelled as we walked inside. The shutter of a few cameras could be heard. I felt like I could breathe again when we got inside. We were ushered through the building to the studio the boys would be having their interview in. "It's good to see you boys again!" Zach Sang said, coming to greet the boys.

The boys greeted him back. I tried to pull back to give them the privacy to catch up but Luke wouldn't allow me to leave his side. "We actually have a favor to ask," Luke piped up when they were done catching up. "We would like to hijack the interview for a bit if that's okay."

"Yeah sure. You've always been such great guests." I was honestly quite shocked he was allowing us to basically steal the interview for ourselves. "We haven't had the chance to meet yet, I'm Zach. It's nice to meet you Aria."

My eyes widened. He knew who I was? I shook his extended hand with a smile. "Thank you for allowing us to do this."

His face lit up when I said this. "Are you going to be joining us?" I nodded my head feeling suddenly shy. "Oh fantastic. I promise to make this as easy as I can for you. You always have the option to not answer anything and even stop the interview if need be." Between Luke's grip on my hand and the reassurance from Zach I felt much more comfortable going through with this. The boys launched into their plan for how this was gonna go. Next thing I knew, it was interview time.

"Hello everyone. Good morning! How are we feeling today?" Zach started the interview with his normal bubbly energy. "Today we are in the studio with 5 Seconds of Summer. How are we doing boys?"
