The darkest night never felt so bright with you by my side

Outer Space/Carry On – 5 Seconds of Summer

Aria

To say I was exhausted was an understatement. Since arriving in London I feel like I have been running around nonstop. There was so much to do to get ready for this performance, it was all hands-on deck. All of the hard work would pay off in just a few hours when the boys take the stage.

Luke left the hotel early this morning which left me to get ready alone. Crystal ended up calling me when I was getting ready to keep me company. The friendship that has blossomed between us is something I never expected but I cherish dearly. "Oh my god you look amazing!" She yelled through the screen.

I smiled back at her and did a little twirl. Since tonight I would not be there to work, I allowed myself to dress up a bit. When I asked Luke what colors he would be wearing, so I could match him, he refused to tell me. He was being cryptic about his outfit which has me excited and confused.

Since I had nothing to go off of I picked out the most beautiful lavender dress. It had beautiful mesh long sleeves that fell off my shoulders just right. The skirt was flared at my waist and ended about mid-thigh. The beautiful lavender fabric had flecks of silver that twinkled like stars in the right light.

Crystal advised me to just leave my hair down and keep the makeup simple. She always helped make sure that I looked my best so I trusted her opinion. I topped the outfit off with the necklace that Luke gifted me on my birthday. Overall, I felt pretty which is something that I don't feel often. I can only hope that Luke likes it as well.

My alarm went off letting me know that it was go time. I said goodbye to Crystal before grabbing my things and making my way out of the hotel room. The boys had sent a van to come pick me up so thankfully I wouldn't have to find my own way there. A couple of fans lingered outside of the hotel.

It's still so hard sometimes to know that all of these people know who I am, let alone that they actually like me. I stopped to take a few pictures with them before shuffling into the van. The entire ride to the venue, I looked out the window. London truly was a beautiful place and I hope that I could come back here some day and just enjoy the city.

When we arrived at the venue, security rushed towards the van. I was met with the loud screaming of fans when I stepped out. There was still a little bit before they were allowed inside. My name was being yelled from all sides, it was getting very overwhelming very quick.

I felt like I was able to breathe again when we stepped inside. One of the crew directed me to where the boys were. I followed them down winding hallway after hallway until the sound of loud rock music hit my ears.

The boys were spread out on the couches with drinks in their hands and they belted out to their music. I leaned on the doorframe and just watched them for a while. Not much has changed from when we were kids. They all may look a little different but deep down, they are all the same kids drinking in their parent's basements listening to loud rock music.

"Come have a drink Ari!" Calum yelled with a smile, holding out his cup towards me.

That head of blonde hair that I love so much finally turned to notice me. His eyes widened slightly before that breathtaking smile lit up the room. He pushed himself off the couch, crossing the room over to me in seconds.

His hands found their home on my waist, pulling me flush against him. My hands fell to his chest, fingers ghosted the bare skin beneath his vest. "You look absolutely stunning angel."
