Forever is a long time

But I, I wouldn't mind spending it by your side

Tell me every day I get to wake up to that smile

I wouldn't mind it at all

I Wouldn't Mind – He Is We

Aria

Today was our first day in London and the day of my date with Luke. I have been giddy since the moment we landed just hours ago. We still hadn't told the boys about our new relationship and truthfully it made the whole ordeal much more exciting. Ever since Ashton's break up we have spent so much time together as a group. All of us wanted to be there and show him just how loved he is.

Because of this Luke and I have barely had any time alone. We have spent the night together since that first night to keep suspicions low. I have missed the feeling of falling asleep wrapped in his arms. Tonight would be different though. Finally, I would have Luke all to myself for more than a few minutes.

I was dancing around the hotel room as I got ready. Part of me felt like I should be nervous about this date but I wasn't. Maybe it was because I have known Luke forever or maybe it was the fact I already know how he feels about me. Regardless, nothing could bring down my happiness.

It would be a little chilly today so I settled on a pair of ripped jeans and black long sleeve top. My hair was pulled up in a ponytail and I kept my makeup simple. Overall it was really a simple outfit but I liked it. I decided to take a photo for my story, claiming I was going sightseeing. It wasn't necessarily a lie but not the truth either.

"Wow you look great." Luke's voice startled me. I had forgotten that I gave him the extra key to my room so he could sneak in whenever. My smile doubled as he wrapped me in his arms. He rocked us slightly side to side which made my smile widen. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah, let me just grab my jacket," I pulled back to grab said jacket when he stopped me.

With a sheepish smile, he extended his arm showing me a jacket. "I actually brought you this if you wanted to wear it." He blushed slightly. I took the jacket from him, my heart stuttering when I realized which one it was. He was giving me his leather jacket with the red trim that he always seems to wear. "It's my favorite jacket and you're my favorite person so I wanted you to wear it while we tour one of my favorite places."

I couldn't help the way my eyes glassed over at this. He let out a small laugh when I engulfed him in a bone crushing hug. "You're too good to me," I whispered against his chest. Knowing he would argue with me, I made sure to cut him off before he could. "I love you."

The argument left his eyes and his smile instantly brightened. He leaned down pulling me into a brief kiss. "I love you Angel."

"So this is where I used to live," Luke and I walked down a residential street. My hand was itching to reach out and hold his but since we were out in public, we were being cautious. We halted in front of a little house along a crowded street. "When the boys and I first moved to London, this was our place."

He led me further down the street telling me all about the first time they experienced snow and what life was like here. "I always imagined what you would think of the house and the snow. I dreamed of bringing you here and showing you just how beautiful it could be." I had to continue to bite back my guilt. I should have been here. "I can see exactly what you're thinking, you don't have to feel bad. I may not have got to show you years ago but I can show you now and in the future."
