When Luke and I pulled up to Ashton's house, the party was in full swing. We snuck inside a side door where Luke placed my bag in one of the locked bedrooms. The adrenalin from shooting tonight's concert and the news that I booked a world tour was causing my head to spin. There was going to be nothing that ruins my night tonight, everything is falling into place.

The pumping music was welcoming me as we made our way back to the main section of the house. A few people congratulated him as we passed. There were a few famous faces around that caused me to be a bit star struck but then again I had to remember the boys are all mega famous too. The boys were throwing this party as a video wrap party and a tour kickoff even though we don't leave for a couple more days.

"I also want you to think of this party as a congratulations to you angel. You really do deserve this spot with us." Luke leaned down and whispered as we made our way to the crowd. He assured me time and time again he had nothing to do with my booking but I still felt semi guilty in a way. Did I only get this job because of my connection to the boys? "If your Aunt hadn't got you this booking then I would have just kidnapped you for the entire trip."

"LUKE!" We turned towards the noise where the rest of the boys were and some very pretty women. I instantly felt intimidated being surrounded by so many people prettier than me. Luke was pulled into hugs by each of the guys, a few of the girls giving him one too as I stood off to the side.

"Hey Aria, stop being shy and get over here!" Ashton held his arms open with a smile. Laughing I let him hug me before being swarmed by the rest of the guys. All of the girls were smiling at me which helped me calm down a bit. "I heard the news! Congratulations!"

A chorus of congratulations came from the group causing me to blush. "I'm so excited to meet you," one of the women said, pulling herself from Michael's side. "Sorry, you don't know who I am. I'm Crystal, Michael's wife. He's told me a lot of great things about you."

"Oh I was hoping I would get to meet you one day! Thank you so much for taking care of him. These are my brothers. I have plenty of embarrassing moments from his childhood if you ever need to know." I gave her a playful wink causing her face to light up.

"Oh please do share." Michael groaned in the background at his wife's excitement. "This is Maria, and Becca." Each girl smiled and waved at me.

"Hi I'm Maria like she said. I'm Ashton's girlfriend!" She gave me a wide smile which made me feel welcome

"And I'm Calum's girlfriend," Beca said. "Sorry I'm a little new to the group and I don't want this to sound mean but how do you know the boys? It seems everyone here knows you."

"I actually grew up with the boys. I moved in next door to Luke when I was 6 and from there I was friends with them until they left for London." The boys were all too preoccupied either talking to guests and each other to listen in.

"What happened between then and now? If you were so close, why are we just meeting you?" Becca said. Calum must have never mentioned it.

"Oh uh...it's a little complicated. Long story short there was an accident and they were told I was dead until recently. I never reached out because...because I thought they hated me." It was getting easier to smile through the story every time I had to say it. This wasn't the first time and it surely won't be the last time.
