swayamvar and fight

After talking and considering with vasudev he declared that the swayamvar was open for all Brahmins. This was the que for arjun who got the blessings of his brothers and smiled thankfully at his madhav. Then he gracefully walked towards the bow and asked permission from drupad who permitted him. Everyone started mocking him. Then he greeted the brothers and bowed before sikhandini, kritika and draupadi. Everyone laughed at this and said that he bowed to the one, for whose hand he is gonna participate here. The brahmin said without any hesitation that in every woman resides mata durga. When yuvraj Rukmi laughed and said if by luck the princess becomes ur, then are u gonna put her in a temple or marry her. Govind gave a mischievous smile and said that if a house is a temple, then a wife is a goddess in that temple and asked him not to worry as he bow to his sister everyday. The respected royal family, smiled and laughed at this and even Draupadi suppressed her laugh while the evil royalties shut their mouth and rukmi fumed. Then Madhav turn to his parth and asked him to come forward and prove that if his warrior skills are as powerful as his character. The brahmin came forward and prayed before the bow and then held it. Here Draupadi was totally blown away by that brahmin, and wanted to marry him at every cost. 

The brahmin lifted the bow and string it so swiftly that all of them were shocked as many kings were not able to lift it even. Draupadi's breath hitched when he took the five arrows and shot it, she closed her eyes and started muttering prayers under her breath. When she suddenly felt as if flowers were raining on her. She looked up and smiled as pure and precious pearls felt from her eyes, them she looked down at him.

The flowers were falling on him too, congratulating him on his win. He was already looking at her, the most beautiful wife when suddenly she blushed looking at him and thought that the mischievous brahmin had yet again shower her with flowers. When suddenly Govind mocked her ans asked that if she is gonna garland him or gonna look at him eternally. She blushed again as her family along with subhadra laughed. She took the garland and shyly bending her head and with graceful steps went to her would be lord.

She took the garland and without looking at his hazel eyes, garlanded him.But the brahmin was looking at her lowered eyes as he couldn't believe after so much patience he got her as his wife, eternally. Slowly he took the garland too, and garlanded her slowly devouring every moment as they were now lord and wife according to Gandharva ritual. Everyone could feel the lovely and divine aura arround them. Krishna smiled with satisfaction as a rare pearl ran down his cheek from eyes.

The Rajkumari then turned to her father and asked for his permission to leave with her good fortune, then she greeted her family then finally greeting the yadav family she gave a happy and thankful smile to govind who smiled and blessed her.

Then she met his 2nd eldest brother and greeted him. As the three were leaving. Gandhar raj started again and this time she gave a frustrated sigh. "Rajkumaron are we gonna sit and watch when the princess made for us kshatriya is taken away by this destitute brahmin. If today we didn't stop this then all ksatriya women will marry Brahmins and then what will happen to us? If the mouse take away a gem from elephant's forehead then it's not the talent of mouse but rather the foolishness of elephant. Attack on them."
The egoistic kings who wished to make her their wife seeing her beauty, all took their weapons while shishupal said that to kill the brahmin and put the woman back in the agni kund. Here Govind was laughing mentally and whispered destitute brahmin and shook his head at Shakuni as he knows that Shakuni now knows the identity of the brahmin. The Panchal and other Yadavs were shocked to see this.

Before anyone could say anything Draupadi came forward, from the blushing bride now she became the undefeatable queen she was and said in a strong and stern voice," stop there everyone, and u gandhar raj, stop considering woman as mere objects, who ever told that I was born for kshatriya, I was born to re establish dharma and not to please men like u think I am. And secondly before calling this all a insult, I think that u people have insulted urself only as everyone here were given equal opportunity to shoot the aim, is this my fault u are not able to and my husband was able to? And then u are trying to attack us? A kshatriya should be able to accept his defeat and not behave like a child. If it had been any royalty u couldn't have said anything so stop doing this drama. Yes u might be right on the mouse part but I couldn't see a mouse rather I saw a lion today. And about the agni part you are free to try urself but don't forget that I am the daughter of agni and rather then me he could burn u." The flames rose higher as if agreeing with his daughter. But seriously can we expect those egoistic man to understand. As she was going to fight her husband came in front of her and said her don't worry and let him prove himself to her. She smiled at his gesture as he and his elder brother fought the enemies. Could she fall any more deep? Suddenly jaydrath came and attack her. She took her sword and fought with him. The egoistic kings were shocked to see her fighting like mata kali. Arjun and defeated all of them and finally krishna stopped them and asked them to leave. While leaving she denied any palki and joined her husband after bidding them good bye. Drupad was tensed about her.

Note: Now a days people are often saying that karn couldn't participate and Draupadi called him sutputra. It's the biggest lie to taint mata Draupadi image. If u read kmg or bori ce mahabharat, u will find that he and others had participated and lost.
