Days without each other

It had been 2 weaks since the plan. She always kept her mother and jijis protected and together they have decided on some protocols too. Yudhisthira and bheem had returned according to plan and Nakul and Sahdev too who had gone to 2 swayamvar 4 days before. Now only her husband and few soldiers were left who are going to secretly attack them. They all were fuming for what happened with mata kunti but kept quite till arjun came and secured all the guards who were trustworthy.

Days without him was empty as if life is colourless. She does her duty, serve her elders, and inbetween visited swarnpur. And not to forget her Friendly fights with the evil quad. They keep her entertained. Her husband has sent her only one letter after letter stopped coming from the battlefield stating that he was alright and take care of everyone. A very formal one. Well she is missing him so much here. Praying for his victory and his return. The life of a wife of a commander in chief is indeed hard.

Duryodhan- Are woh daas ki patni tumhare manhoos pati ka khath nhi arha Rana bhoomi say lagta usse mrutyu prapt ho gyi.
(Oh! Wife of servant,letters are not coming from battlefield from that useless husband of yours. Looks like he embraced death. )

Yagyaseni- if u can't speak good of others atleast don't speak bad of them. And listen who is speaking, the one who got defeated by my father. My husband is brave and I know he is alive. And about being useless who could fit it's definition more than u? Neither did u go to fight nor are u helping in administration work and u want to become a king? Stop building castles in air, prince duryodhan.

Duryodhana- you idiot woman

Bheesm- DURYODHAN GO TO UR CHAMBER RIGHT NOW!!!

Duryodhan remembering that he no longer is the crown prince went away. Draupadi came and touched his feet and he whole heartedly blessed him.

Bheesm- I am sry for his behaviour my daughter. He has become very spoilt and speaks whatever comes in his mind. Don't take his words to heart afterall ur husband is the best of warrior. The pride of Hastinapur. Who could defeat him?

Draupadi- don't worry grandfather I have full trust on my husband. Btw u look happy have u thought another trick for our chess game today.

Bheesm- No it's something else. Ur devars had won the swayamvars and will be coming . 

Draupadi became very happy with the news and helped with the preparations. After the new brides came all rituals started taking place. Here our dear draupadi was busy with something else. Yes busy in the love lanes of her husband she was trying to copy the picture in her heart on a canvas. She looked at it and smiled.

When a daasi arrived and said that mata kunti and new brides want to come in. She allowed them. They were awestruck seeing her beauty but composed themselves.

Kunti- Don't worry when Arjun brought her we too looked at her that way, we do it now too. My dear these are u new sisters in law. They want to spend sometime with u meanwhile I am taking my leave.

Karenumati- pranipaat jiji. I am princess karenumati and she is princess Vijaya. It's a honour to meet u. We worship ur valour di. In our kingdoms we share tales of ur bravery.

Vijaya- yes jiji. I was so happy to meet u. Me and karenu jiji asked all about u from our Aryas.

Draupadi thanked them and welcomed them inside and asked dasis to bring food and juice for them. She engaged them in talking when karenumati s gaze fell on the painting.

Karenumati- is he brother arjun?

Draupadi nodded her head and smiled looking at her husband who resides in her heart. Hope he returns soon to her.

Vijaya*mumbling*- no matter saiba wants to marry him

The others didn't notice her mumbling. Now they departed for the muhdikhai rituals. Draupadi too got ready and went there.

But finally the news came:
              Prince arjun won the battle
                    and is coming back.

In the camp...

Arjun had got news from spies that his brothers got married. He was really happy for them. But sad for his wife. But now they have won and he had sent the letter to Hastinapur. These weeks were spent working hard for the battle and being busy day and night and the little spare time came is spent in thoughts of family. Now he could spend blissful time with his love and give her the happiness of newly married.

That night both of them slept under the blanket of stars and the moon gazed at the lovers. There eyes filled with impatience and heart filled with love and happiness.

Finally the wait of ardi is finally over.

I am going to edit the story soon and make a major change. So no updates for a few days.
