Chitrangada

The sound of thunder filled the surrounding. Arjun and his madhav stood there to watch the clashing of swords. Two women were dueling against each other in sword fight. No one was less then the other. The women were non other then their dear wives Satyabhama and Draupadi. Being warrior queens they both loved to engage themselves in friendly duel now and then. Finally the match end in a draw as both of them hugged each other and laughed merrily. They both looked like twin sisters. Here the husbands of the warriors looked proud as they witness their warfare skills. Today arjun has to depart to Hastinapur and along the way they would visit his wife's kingdom who wants to meet their king. Pitamah bhisma will join them there. He is too excited to visit her kingdom. It is said to heaven and is said to be almost as beautiful as dwarka.

Finally it was time for good bye. It hurted a lot to bid bye to his best friend and soulmate but now it was time to go back before it was through late. As decided they went through the path of Manipur. Near the boarder of Manipur, everyone took a break as everyone was tired. Arjun and draupadi feed some of the horses as draupadi also made sure if all servants were properly fed or not. Finally it was time to continue the journey. But before draupadi could mount the palki a arrow almost must have passed through her side if arjun mustn't have stopped that. Arjun broke the arrow in the same hand.

Arjun- reveal urself.

They both witness that a warrior came out and by the figure u could tell that she was a woman. She opened the clothe on her face.

Unknown- I am the princess of Manipur, Chitrangada.

Chitrangada was a really beautiful princess and with the warfare skills she was respected too.

Arjun- what purpose do u serve here princess?

Chitrangada- well queen draupadi know what I want is a dwell but I want a help from u prince arjun. Please help us prince and Manipur will be grateful to u always.

Arjun- how can I help u princess?

Chitrangada- there is this demon who has been attacking our kingdom. Please kill him. Only u could save people from our kingdom.

Arjun looked at draupadi and both nodded at each other. Chitrangada smiled and took them to her father. Her father was delighted to see the great arjuna but his smile faded when he saw the panchala princess but he put on a fake smile. He explained the situation to Arjuna and asked Chitrangada to join him on his conquest. He also ordered the maids to arrange a royal room for Draupadi but Draupadi denied and asked Arjun if she could join him. The king then asked arjun how will he look after two women.

Arjun- I don't need to look after my wife. Obviously I would also keep an eye during our wars like she does but I know and am sure of her abilities. She makes me proud of being her husband. And if u are worried about ur daughter then I will look surely look after her.

The king of Manipur was not pleased with the situation but he agreed. Finally all of them departed to the forest where the monster along with his minions lived. Chitrangada was amazed by Arjun when he conversed with Draupadi. He was so polite and respectful to her and you could see love through his emotionless eyes everytime his gaze fall on draupadi. He was very respectful to her also. He was polite to her infact her being an unknown woman.

Soon they reached there and started attacking those monsters. Chitrangada was lost in arjun and his moves, his battle style, his everything. Being half absent from there, a minion tried take profit of the situation and attacked her. Her hand started bleeding but before she could do something she witness a arrow that pierced right at his forehead. She looked back to witness arjun. Arjun ran to her and tore his uttariya as he bandaged her injury. She was totally lost in those beautiful hazel eyes of his.

But before she could thank him he went to his wife.

Arjun was lost in his wife. She was fighting like Mahakali herself. Such grace and fierceness. But unlike chitra he knew to be aware of his surroundings. Finally after the gruesome fight they went back to the castle. The king praised arjun way too much. Finally they all went to chambers.

At night

Arjun was engaged in his daily work of helping his wife getting rid of jewels. He saw that she was lost in some thought. He smiled mischievously and pecked her lips and went back to opening her nath like nothing happen but here draupadi's cheek got the colour of vermillion.

Draupadi- Arya!!!

Arjun- what priye, everything alright?

Draupadi- u kissed me!

Arjun- I. No I didn't. U were daydreaming sweetheart. Perhaps u dreamt of me kissing u.

Draupadi- don't fool me na!

Arjun- okay dear but what are u thinking ?

Draupadi-  about my duel with chitra tomorrow. I want to make u feel proud of me.

Arjun- what's there to think? Give ur best dear. I am proud of u. Doesn't matter if u win or lose.

Draupadi- but.... But...

Arjun- no more buts..... Btw that was not a kiss u know.....

He came near her and kissed her passionately. They both lost all there senses. A world existed only with them. Finally they parted.

Arjun- this is....!!

Draupadi- Arya!!

She chased him but lost him somewhere. Suddenly he came from her backside and held her in bridal style. Both lost in each others night. And the moon witnessed the passion of the greatest warrior for his beloved and only wife that night.

Somewhere else

Chitrangada sat and wondered about the hazel eyed. How handsome he was. How brave and courageous he was. How respectful he was and finally how loving he was. The humbleness in him...

Gosh!!!!!!

He was the most perfect man alive. She felt jealous of draupadi. But not anymore. She is not blind to what her father wants. A tie between Hastinapur and Manipur through arjun. And she will be more than happy to accomplish it. She blushed as she thought about him. She will be his soon ....
