"I want to go outside. Fight something, train... Why do I have to be here, again?" Vega said, a hint of annoyance in her tone.
Dottore chuckled. "I do appreciate your enthusiastic nature, Vega. Truly, I do. It's.. a far cry from what I could've expected. But, alas, her majesty the Tsaritsa has ordered for you to take one days' time off of being a harbinger."
"I don't even get it. Why the hell do I need bed rest? I'm fine."
"Patience, Vega. You will have your time."
Dottore left Vega's room, leaving many vials of medicine for her to take.
What Vega didn't see was what Dottore did afterwards.
Pierro was waiting for Dottore's report. And, report he did.
"The memory implementation has gone smoothly. She hasn't mentioned anything strange. I'll continue to monitor her." Dottore sounded extremely proud."Another creation of mine, destined for such great things! Truly, such fun to study..."
Pierro gave a cold nod, before scrawling everything down and leaving. Dottore reopened the door to Vega's room.
"Hello again, Vega. Remember that the summer re-rankings are coming up in merely two days? The Tsaritsa has allowed you to train. Of course, you may write to your family first, if you so please." Dottore looked closely to gauge her reaction.
"No thank you, I don't feel like writing to my family today. I'll be training." Vega hopped off her bed, making sure her sword was sheathed. Dottore watched her exit silently, and scrawled something else down.
Target has not reacted to mention of family. Target seems to not notice any difference. Planting the memories seems to have worked.
Dottore sealed the letter into an envelope, before adding it to a thick file of papers.

Lisa stared at the long, long list of people she would need to send invitations to. She thought about perhaps planning a private funeral, and then a public one- therefore, one where only a select few may attend vs the general public. That might actually work.
Lisa also looked over at Jean, who was studying the graveyard map. There were many open plots, but something made Jean wonder if Lumine should have a more special grave than one in the public graveyard. Suddenly, an Idea entered her head.
"Lisa, what if we put the grave at windrise? Or, perhaps near it? Or maybe.. Maybe at the very top of Starsnatch Cliff?" Jean asked, not glancing up from the map.
Lisa had a thoughtful look. "Hm, I actually think that's a lovely idea. We could put the grave marker near windrise. It would make that tree the final resting place of two great heroes."
Jean nodded. She had had Albedo sketch some headstone carvings, and she had two in front of her. Lisa noticed her indecision and pointed to the one on Jean's right.
"I quite like this one. It has her flowers, see? And we can engrave stars onto it."
Jean nodded, placing the other paper to the side. "I agree. I'll go to Wagner later to see if he can make it for us. What should we write on it, though?"
Lisa paused. "I would like to ask Paimon, but she's not exactly very happy with us right now. We should definitely include 'traveler' and 'Lumine', of course. Perhaps also, 'Savior of Many'?"
Jean scrawled that down on the back of the sketch. "I like those. I'll ask around later, too. I wonder what historical graves look like..." Jean's voice wandered off.

"Hello, Captain Kaeya! What can I do for you today?"
"Why hello, Flora. Would you happen to have windwheel asters in stock?"
Flora nodded. "We do, actually. Lumine helped plant some for us a while back, and they're finally grown. How many do you think you'll need?"
Kaeya took a deep breath and sighed. "That's perfect, actually. I think we'll need to plant some of them, so I'll pick them up in two days' time. As for how many, I'd say.. " Kaeya paused, counting mentally. "Can you put seven in a bouquet? And then.. Ten more to be planted? So, seventeen total. All to be picked up in two days."
Flora nodded. "Thank you so much for the order! Business is slow, so this is great. That'll be 17,000 mora."
Kaeya pulled out a small bag of coins. "Here you go, Flora. Thank you, and keep yourself safe."
