A Sweet Tooth For You(Kevin x Streber)

Chapter 16: Streber

After I bought my hat, an eye patch, and a Jason Voorhees pin, Kevin called Jack to pick us up.
"When's Edd's party again?" Kevin asked.
"On Halloween night, starting around 10 pm."
Knowing Edd's parties, the planning was often taken over by his friends, and the parties got out of control. But that's kind of what I enjoyed about them. They're unpredictable.
Jack arrived not too long after the call, and we hopped into the backseat.
"Streber, when do you need to get back home?" Jack asked.
"It really doesn't matter, my parents don't care." Yeah. They didn't care. At all.

I quietly made sure my parents were asleep, put on my Bill Cipher costume, and snuck out through my bedroom window.
The streets felt empty, most children had already gone home and went to bed.
Edd's house was 1 block away from my house, so it wasn't too far away to walk. Once I got there, Kevin was waiting for me outside.
You could hear blasting indie music from speakers inside the house. There were empty alcohol bottles in the front yard, and a puddle of vomit on the grass.
Kevin was dressed in a Beetlejuice costume. But more so the Beetlejuice from the musical.
He looked really cute in that costume.
"Hey, Streber." Kevin said. "I was afraid you wouldn't make it."
"Nah, I made sure my parents were asleep."
"My parents were caught on a business trip, so they aren't home." He said, casually.
I really want to kiss him right now.
We got inside, and we were greeted by Tori, a twin sister of one of Edd's best friends. Tori is dressed up as Sailor Moon.
She's obviously drunk.
My first instinct is to go straight for the vodka. Sure, it tasted like metal, but it was still oddly addicting.
I grabbed a bottle and drank like, half of the bottle, and the rest is a blur.
I start vomiting...
Kevin takes me to the upstairs bathroom....
I continued vomiting in the toilet...
I have a splitting headache...
I stop vomiting...
I look up at Kevin, who looks extremely worried...
I start saying 8 words that I've been trying to keep to myself for the past year...
