(This is a pretty short chapter sorry lol)
During intermission at Streber's show, I decided to go get some sprite. But that's when I ran into a familiar face.
"E-Evelyn...?"
She looked in my direction. "K-Kevin?"
"What are you doing here?" We both asked at the same time.
"Well, I came to see my boyfriend in the show." I said coldly after an awkward silence.
"I came to see Streber too...how's he doing...?" She asked.
I scoffed. "Maybe you'd know if you actually cared enough to visit him and didn't block his number the second he left." I started getting a bit angry. Streber has been wanting to make things right with Evelyn for a while, but she had blocked him when he left.
"Listen, I can explain..." she said.
"I don't have time for your shitty excuses. I'm going to get a drink." I walked past her.
I didn't want to be that harsh, but she hurt Streber. She made him feel like he had to shelter himself, and completely cut off contact with him when he was thrown out by his mom.
It made him feel worthless. And I was mad at her for hurting my Streber like that.
I got to the counter and bought a small bottle of sprite. Like the drink Streber and I had when we first met.
I made my way back to my seat. The show was about to begin again.
Streber was an amazing actor, so I'm not surprised he got the role of Beetlejuice.
He could play pretty much any role perfectly if he wanted to.
The curtain opened, and the show resumed.
