I smiled at Foster who was adorably trying to fix a gadget that I insisted Dex help with.

"C'mon Foster, just let me hail Dex." I smirked from my position on the cream lounge, crumpled and old, but still made of memories. The pillows placed around the couch were all colours of blue, and my personal favourite brown with gold highlights. She looked over to me and lazily smiled.

"That's what you look like right now! Lazy!" She exclaimed. She turned her back to me, her long blonde hair draping over her right shoulder. She squatted to get a better view of the gadget.

"Andd Dex will probably brag about fixing it. I'm not up for his bragging today. and by the way I'm doing this for him. Since I can't stand his bragging I would have to punch him-" I shut my wife up from her ramblings by walking over and tossing the gadget in  the air. Sophie yelled out.

"No!" She cried out with her hands positioned in such a way that if the gadget fell, she wouldn't catch it. She was uncoordinated like that. But I loved her all the same.

I caught the contraption with such ease and Sophie exhaled and snatched it from my hands.

"No." She simply stated and once again sat to figure out the gadgets deepest secrets. Or that's how it looked anyway. Her fiesty determination was something to admire.

I took the contraption from her hands and studied it mockingly. My hair falling into my face.

"Hmmm...the problem is..." I said dramatically pausing, a nesscecity for me. "That my wife is more concerned fixing this....thing....than spending time to her devoted husband." My hair drooped as I held a hand to my chest in mock hurt.

"Imagine!" She exclaimed "I always hang out with you Sencen. Now suck it up and get over here and fix this." She pouted adorably and I slid of the couch slowly, and as karma I lightly hit my head on the floor.

Foster laughed so hard it looked like she was going to pass out.

"Good thing I have a photographic memory Sencen." She wheezed in between laughs.

I rolled my eyes and eventually joined her in her fit of laughing. I tackled her to the ground after rubbing my head. She squealed, and then continued to laugh. I pinned her down and leant down to kiss her forehead but she flipped me and pinned me hard.

Ouch.

She smirked and lifted herself off the floor.

I stood as well and took a hold of her waist and put her on the couch and plopped down beside her.

"Enough working for today love." I said, my eyes drooping.

She yawned quietly. "Maybe- a two minute nap." And she drifted to sleep, leaving me to admire my gorgeous wife, who slept peacefully on the couch. I laughed quietly and then looked over to the contraption. I rolled my eyes. Stupid.

Against Foster's wishes I'd have to call Dex tomorrow. And I leant down and drifted right to sleep next to her snoring figure.

And it was everything I'd ever wanted.
