Another Update my lovely readers.

The next morning dawned and found myself laying in bed with Aries's arms curled around me with the sounds of the waves hitting the surf and the cool ocean air seeping through the open curtains. I was staring outside the bedroom window when his soft voice came through to my ear. "Good morning, love," he said, touching his lips to my cheek.

We were so engrossed in ourselves that we didn't hear the events going on out in the hallway. That was until Dante came hurdling through my door. "What the hell, Dante?" Aries yelled as we sat up in my bed.

Dante stopped mid-step, eyes bugged out of his head, mouth wide open. He did a double turn and ran out the same way he came in. Guess that's our cue to get out of bed and join the rest of the family. We joined everybody at the dining room table, which was already set for breakfast. As breakfast was served and my blended family was eating, I took that moment to ask my newfound grandfather about using his boat. Which, of course, I got permission, much to my older brother's dismay.

After breakfast, while the twins were busy with their parents. Bia, her siblings, and their friends started planning a surprise birthday party for the twins. When everything was ready, Bia's brothers led the twins over to the marina, where everybody was already on board the boat. The party was in full swing, music blaring in the background. When the next song came on, Aries went over to Bia, who was talking to her brother. And wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling Bia tighter against his chest. He laid his chin on top of her head, enjoying the feeling of her being in his arms.

The love he had for her was clear in the way he touched her. Every time he gazed in her direction. He would stare at her like there was no tomorrow. As if she were his entire world and maybe she was. We will never understand the love one person feels toward another.

While joining Bia and her brother something caught my attention on the horizon. Not far away was another boat, and it was speeding fast. The closer it got, the more anxious I became. "Hey Dante, look over there and tell me what you see."

Dante came and stood by my side and looked in the same direction I pointed out. "Who do you think they are?"

"Do you think it could be our batshit crazy grandmother? She seems to be the only one who wants to hold a grudge against our parents. Hell, she kidnapped me once, remember?"

"Do you think it could be our batshit crazy grandmother? She seems to be the only one who wants to hold a grudge against our parents. Hell, she kidnapped me once, remember?"

"Are you carrying your piece?"

"Of course, you already know I stay strapped."

"Johnny, does your grandfather keep your boat stocked?"

"Of course, this boat is completely stocked. You do realize who my family is, right?" he said while showing us where they stored the firearms. While we grabbed our weapons, the girls started screaming above us. Quietly, we made our way above deck, only to find Bia on her knees with a gun to the back of her head. Given the circumstance, there was only one option. We opted to go back to the room where the guns were kept and called our fathers using the portable CB. It's a good thing my dad still had my grandfather's walkie-talkies in his office. "Is anyone there? Dad, Uncle Vince, we're in trouble."

It wasn't long before my dad's voice came across the line. Boys, what's going on?

"Dad, we took Bai and Johnny's grandfather's boat out on the water and a bounce of people just boarded the boat. When we went to go back up on deck to take the people out, we couldn't do it. For one, they have Bai down on her knees with a gun to her head. The 2nd thing is Grandma's the one doing it."

"Good God, your mom should have killed the dumb hag years ago."

"Ok, we will be there soon. What I need you to do is try to distract your grandma until our people arrive. But Aries, remember you need to stay calm."

Once my father disconnected our conversation, we snuck back up to the deck. Dante and Johnny covered me. "Grandma, I know you must have lost your ever-loving mind. What the hell do you think you're doing? This is my boat. Take your goons and jump overboard. It'll be safer for you in the long run."

"Well, well, well... If it isn't my grandson, all grown up. You need to watch your mouth when you speak to people older than you."

"Don't talk to me about respect when you don't even respect your daughter. You kidnap her son, and once again you're holding a gun on your own relative. You should have learned your lesson last time. Remember the scar on your face? You would think that's your daily reminder."

"Do you realize once mom gets a hold of you this time? She won't let you live to see another day."

Right when grandma opened her mouth to respond, a shot was fired, killing the man holding the gun. The next thing we knew, Bai's birth father and several heavily armed men stormed our boat, killing everyone in sight. The only person besides us spared was my grandmother. I think that was only because dad had told him beforehand to keep her alive. So, my mother would have the privilege of killing the conniving bitch yourself.

Meanwhile, Dante snatches my grandmother up, putting her in handcuffs. Our boat turned around and headed back to the docks, where my parents waited for us. Some birthday party this turned out to be. Nobody ever thinks their grandmother would try to kill them repeatedly.

Sorry for the short chapter I just wanted to get this out for your guys.  What do you think so far? If you notice the spelling Difference in Bia's name it's because I spelled it wrong in the previous chapters I will be correcting them once I started editing the book. Don't forget to Vote, and comment on your favorite couple. Should Dante end up finding his love as well?
