Two years later

My wife Bianca laid there on her hospital bed in a coma for two years now. Our twins Aries Miquel Rodriquez and Dante Sebastian Rodriquez were growing so quickly. Both of the boys were as different as night and day. Both had light brown hair, tanned skin with hazel eyes. The way they smiled when people walked into their line of sight. It lit up the whole room. I know Bianca would call them little heartbreakers, Aries was more of the feisty one whereas Dante was more reserved always watching and taking in his surroundings. They say it's always the timid and quiet ones you have to watch out for when they get older.

I was so deep in thought and lost in my own head that I didn't hear the squeak of the door. The sudden lite tap on my shoulder caused my insides to jumble together. I swear if my heart wasn't beating in my chest, I would have thought God had called me home.

"Mr. Rodriquez we just wanted to give you an update on your wife's condition. This will be good news for your family. Your wife is responding to treatment remarkably well. There is slight movement when you shine light into her eyes. Which leads us to believe your wife will be waking up from her coma real soon."

After updating me on Bianca's condition the doctor turned and left me alone with her. From the outside, one would just assume that my wife was sleeping peacefully but that was not the case. For two years now she laid here not waking up or moving an inch. During the time I would go and visit my wife, our children stayed back at the house under my brother Vince's watchful eyes.

Don't even think for one second, that I would even leave him alone with them. Both boys had their own set of bodyguards and enforcers to protect them. Plus, I had doubled the number of hitmen patrolling the outside grounds. My boys are the future of our family. So yeah, their life is precious to me. If I don't protect our children, then who will?

When Bianca's doctor had finally shut the door behind him. My phone rang. I glanced down as my brother's name flashed across the screen. What could he want now I thought to myself while answering his call?

"Vince this better be a matter of life and death, you know I'm sitting here at the hospital with Bianca" I sighed into the phone.

"Angel we have a problem. And you need to get back home real fast. Someone came through the bedroom window in the boy's bedroom. Aries is missing!" Vince yelled through the phone.

I rose out of my seat and ran out of the hospital to my waiting car. Speeding out of the parking lot I yelled "how did you let this happen. You had one job Vince and that was to protect my kids with your life."

As I sped down the open highway my hands gripped the stirring wheel during my knuckles a deathly shade of white. The blood in my ears roared like waves of the ocean. And my heart thudded like a jackhammer against my chest. Please let Aries be ok I prayed silently to my guardian angel. If anything happens to him my wife will never forgive me.

Turning the corner, I pulled into the garage and parked my car. The closer I got to the house the more fired up I became. The door opened from the other side and Vince walked up to me with Kallie behind him. Normally my brother is one to joke around and prank everyone right along with my wife that's why the two became best friends. But one look in his eyes and the cold stance he was in told me this was not a prank.

"Vince, you need to go back inside and gather all our guys it's time for a family meeting. We can find my son and whoever is responsible for Aries being taken from our home."

Entering my house, I flew up the stairs and down the hallway leading to my son's bedroom. Sure, enough there on the floor laid the glass from the window. Aries bedroom was a glittered winter snowfield but if you were to walk on it barefooted it wouldn't feel cold it would slice your feet instead. I did a quick search around the room trying to find any clues which had been left behind.

Vince POV

Many thoughts raced through my head. Who would be stupid enough to do something like this? For one if my sister-in-law wakes up and finds out some had the balls to break into our house just to kidnap her son. There won't be a safe place on earth for this person to hide. But for now, everything is up to Angel and me to find their missing child and whoever happens to be behind the kidnapping.

We searched the room while cleaning up the room and found a note which had been left behind in my nephew's bed. I grabbed the note and took it over handing it to my brother. Angel read the note and his face turned red, his veins popped out the side of his neck as he held the note in his tightly clasped hands.

"Angel, what does the letter say?" I asked softly

Calmly he raised his head and looked at me. My brother didn't speak just turned around and walked out of the room slamming the door closed behind him. Shaking my head, I ran to catch up with my brother. Why couldn't he tell what was in the letter? When I finally caught up with Angel, he was in his office standing by the window and already on the phone.

"Miguel, how quick can you round up your men and get here to my place? Someone just broke into my house and kidnapped my son. I'm gathering all our family to help get Aries back and to put an end to Bianca's mother and husband once and for all. These Assholes kidnapped my son thinking they can control me and get my family's business this way they have another thing coming." Angel said in a deathly tone.

I knew we needed more help with this situation. Grabbing my phone, I dialed our mother's brother in Italy. Our mom's family is known worldwide as the Luciano Family. After hanging up with my uncle I was under debate with myself on calling Bianca's grandfather letting them know what their daughter had done. Once again this woman has decided to hurt Bianca in a way that will haunt us forever.
