Author Update= I know, I know. It's late and you've been waiting for this chapter for a while. And yes this one is short but I wanted to give you a quick update on the story.

It was well into the next evening when the front door flung open, with Bianca standing there with her mother behind her in handcuffs. She looked over at Aries, motioning for him to take the woman down to the cell. "Bianca, that's probably the wrong idea. You really don't want him to take her down there. Have the guard take Joyce and put her in the cell," I said, to keep Aries from doing something he may regret later.
Upon Seeing me stop his mother from letting him take his grandmother, Aries turned and shot daggers my way. But I already know that once he has his mind set to do something, nobody can stop him. He is a lot like his mother in that regard. The only reason I choose to intervene is Bianca hasn't made her plans known yet.
For all we know, she plans on letting her mother live and just chasing her off with nothing left to her name. As it stood, my sister-in-law wasn't raised by her anyway, so she doesn't feel any kind of family bond with her. It still amazes me how she and my brother ended up married to each other. The way they're still going strong in this relationship. Leaving the twins alone with their parents, I went in search of my wife. Now that we are back at home, it's time to spend some time catching up with my wife and get those long awaited kisses I missed so much.
As I pushed the bedroom door open, my wife slowly turned to face me. With the warm moonlight engulfing her in, its loving arms. I quickly walked over to Mia, pulling her flush against my chest, and burying my nose in her hair. I breathed in deeply and sighed. Capturing her lips, I softly kissed Mia. God, how I missed this woman.
Even though she fought me tooth and nail and didn't want me to leave her behind when we left, it was much safer that way. She knows I will do anything to keep my woman safe.
I lifted my wife up in my arms and carried her over to our bed, where we ended up making sweet, passionate love with each other the rest of the night. After Mia fell asleep, I lay there with my arm under my head. Watching the love of my life as she slumbered across my chest. When I knew she was comfortable and sound asleep, I got up to look out the window. I gazed out into the vast darkness, deep in thought.
The one thing plaguing my mind is wondering what Bianca will do to her mother. Even though the woman put her and Angel through so much torment and kidnapped their son, Joyce still gave birth to her. As it states in the bible one must honor thy mother and father. But for my sister-in-law, that's one thing she cannot do. Especially since both of her parents treated her as if she was nonexistent during her entire childhood.
While staring off into the eerie night sky, I saw three figures walking into our makeshift dungeon. I hurried over to my dresser and put some clothes on, stubbing my toe on the corner of the dresser. Quietly so nobody could hear me, I slowly crept toward the cell door, and placed my ear up against it. This way, I can hear what the twins were saying inside. The only sound coming from inside the room was Joyce's grunts of pain. My nephew was finally getting the revenge he always wanted against his grandmother.
Quickly, without letting my presence known to the twins, I turned around and ran back into the house. Pounded on the door of the master bedroom, awakening their parents. After a quick tap on the door, I headed downstairs. Burning a path from one side of the room to the other, impatiently pace back and forth, while watching time tick away as I waited in Angel's office.
They soon followed forthwith joining me in the meeting room. Where I filled them in on what their son Aries was doing at this very moment. Bianca's mouth dropped open and her eyes got as big as saucers. "Vince, are you serious?"
"You two should go find out for yourself."
My brother and his wife shot out of the house as if the hounds of hell were after them. Hopefully, they make it before their child does something without them knowing. Not wanting to miss the show that was about to take, I chased after them.
As we entered through the door in front of us. Bianca screamed at her son, "Stop right where you are young man." But before she could stop him, Aries took his ultimate revenge on the woman who had kidnapped him all those years ago, shooting her in the head.
The look of shock that was written on his parent's faces would last for weeks to come. Bianca was disheartened because she had hoped he would grow up and have nothing to do with gang life. His father, on the other hand, was proud his son had proven himself able to look after and protect the family when needed.
Aries has finally gotten his revenge. Will he continue in the footsteps of his father, or will he choose a life without crime?
How would you have acted in Aries's shoes?
Do you think he is happy with his revenge or did it hurt his heart having to kill his birth grandmother after she kidnapped him?
Sorry for the long pause in updating as we all know life has a way of throwing distractions our way.
