Chapter 15.

Eva's POV

Men and their fucking egos.

Derek lunged at Zachary in his wolf form but Zachary quickly dodged out of the way avoiding him all together.

Derek must have assumed what Zachary would do so as he landed he quickly shifted his stance and attacked Zachary from behind, clamping his teeth down on the back of Zachary's leg as he groaned in pain.

"You sneaky piece of shit," Zachary groaned as he attempted to shake him off. Just as Zachary raised his sat in the air to stab Derek in the back, once again there was another scream filling the air of the entire pack as we all dropped to the ground to cover our ears from the pain of the scream.

Derek's wolf whined as he let go and pawed at his own ears, trying to drown the sound out. Just as silence overcame I walked over to Zachary and back handed him army vision slightly flickered to red due to my anger and frustration.

"How about you stop fighting and go help my sister like you're supposed to be doing!" I screamed at him.

"Evangeline I can't do anything, whatever is happening has to happen on its own. I'm officially blocked out of her mind," Zachary insisted.

Angry, I walked back to the pack hospital as I burst through the room that was holding both Ava and Ariel. She had finally stopped screaming but I noticed blood dripping from her nose to which I grabbed tissues to wipe the blood away from her face as I sighed.

"Eva she's in pain, I don't know how much more she can take anymore," I heard Ariel say from across the room.

I turned around to see Ariel staring at me with such a pained expression, it wasn't like she was bed ridden she just wasn't used to walking without her wings, she wasn't use to the absent weight on her back that she once had.

"Do you think they'll grow back?" I asked, ignoring her statement about my sister.

Ava was strong, definitely strong enough to get through whatever she was going through.

"Eli says they are growing back, just extremely slowly. I've never heard of an Angel getting their wings cut off so I don't even know if I'll be the same rank anymore," She said sadly as she huffed, laying her head against the bed.

"Have hope in the Moon Goddess, she is our all Divine Creator," I smiled.

We were never to doubt our Divine Goddess and that everything she did was for a grand reason but what was the reason for all of this? Hasn't my sister been through enough pain and torture in her life?

"Ava please come back, I miss your stupid, bubbly and serious self," I whispered to her.

"He murdered her," I heard her murmur to herself.

I looked down at her.

Everything was still the same, eyes still glowing golden and she hadn't moved a muscle.

"What did she say?" I heard Zachary and Derek ask at the same time as they entered the room.

"I'm not sure," I shrugged my shoulders.

"He murdered her," She said again much louder.

"Why is she saying that?" Derek asked frantically as he stepped forward.

"Kill him, he killed her, he deserves death," She began muttering to herself.

Everyone in the room grew quiet.

She was able to get away with killing her mate a first time but I wasn't sure of the consequences if she were to do it again. It was highly possible that she could die.
