Beep beep beep
"Shut that the hell up!"
"Harder!"
"Come on man harder!"
"Shut up! I don't know what I'm doing!"
"Your eyes should be glowing and you should be healing her!"
"I'm gonna fucking kill you if you don't shut up!"
"You can't kill me! But you're gonna kill her if you don't concentrate,"
Beep beep beep
I opened my eyes to a bright light blinding me, I tried to sit up but a sharp pain took over my chest. As my eyes adjusted to the light I realized I was in a really large room with the windows open.
I looked up to see a door slowly opening to reveal Natasha. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Good you're awake, they weren't sure if you were going to wake or not," She said.
She opened the door fully and brought in a tray full of food.
"You know I'm immortal, I don't need to eat." I stated.
She shrugged and placed the tray in front of me.
"Food usually helps with the pain," She said as she handed me a mirror.
I looked through it and noticed my eye was no longer swollen, the bruises were gone but there was a long scar across my eye and a gash on my right cheek. I looked down at my arms and still noticed the black scars on my arms from the lashes.
"He healed most of the scars and bruises but some just wouldn't go away, he did the best he could," She smiled sadly.
I was so confused. Who healed my scars?
"Who are you talking about?" I asked.
"Alp-"
There was banging and crashing coming from outside of the door and yelling. There was a knock at the door but then the entire door fell off its hinges.
There stood a surprised Derek with giant black wings sprouting from his back.
"I didn't know that was going to happen," He muttered.
He stepped inside while struggling to fit his wings inside.
"Derek why don't you retract your wings?" I giggled.
"I don't know how, it feels like extra weight on my back," He muttered.
"Concentrate on your wings, you control them, imagine them retracting into your back or shifting like you would if you were shifting," I explained.
He closed his eyes and his wings began to shift into his back, he fell on all fours as he flinched from the pain until they were fully gone.
"You'll get used to the pain, just like shifting," I smiled.
"I'll leave you two alone," Natasha giggled.
Once she left the room, Derek brought me into a bone crushing hug. I returned the hug as silent tears escaped me.
"I missed you so much, I thought I was going to lose you," Derek whispered in my ear.
I laughed as I cried into his shoulder.
"Look at the Big Bad Alpha being sensitive," I laughed.
"Never discuss this with anyone." He growled into my ear before he smiled.
