Black Assassin Wings (Completed)

Chapter 8.

'Elizabeth where is Nicholas?' I asked as I pushed it into her mind as I immediately located her and knew she was safe. I could practically feel her fear transferring into my own as I zoomed towards the pac.

'Ava there are wolves attacking us! Nicky went to go fight them off and I'm scared!' I heard her frightened little voice tell me.

'Elizabeth stay where you are, I'm coming!' I yelled into her mind.

I zoomed through the sky faster than any jet or plane nearly breaking the sound barrier itself as I was determined to make it to the pack so that no one gets hurt.

About 10 minutes later I was hovering above the pack, surveying the surroundings and accessing the situation as I watched rogues scattered everywhere with a sprinkle of the white wolves trying to defend themselves. It was only so much they could do since they had such small numbers, midnight wolves along with white wolves were the rarest of breeds, plucked out by the Moon Goddess herself and protected. My eyes lit up gold as I looked around everywhere selecting my targets. My bow materialized in my hand as the arrows lit on fire, I pulled back the flaming arrows and began showering the wolves with them, selectively choosing who became my next victim.

I watched as one single grey rogue pounced on a white wolf and clamped down hard on its neck. I whizzed down towards the pack and crash landed down creating a giant crater in the ground, blowing everyone and everything back around me.

I stood up and planted a giant protective force field around the entire pack, blocking out the rest of the intruders and leaving the dead and wounded inside with us as the remainder pawed at the outside of the dome. I heard a growling behind me and turned around to see one single rogue still on their feet, trapped inside with us as it bared its teeth at me in a threatening manner.

I materialized a silver dagger into my hand as I glared at the wolf, crouching down in attack position.

"Right now I would be more than happy to end your pitiful life so lunge at me if you dare," I hissed at the wolf before me.

It stamped its feet into the ground as it growled before charging right at me which I presumed it would. Just as its grey figure jumped into the air I threw the knife directly at it, stabbing straight into its heart and causing it to collapse right in front of me, lifeless.

The injured white wolf limped towards me whining and breathing heavily as it laid on the ground, bleeding out in pain.

"Lucie you always have a knack fir getting yourself into the worse danger," I growled at her as I shook my head.

As she laid down in front of me I applied deep pressure to her wound as I felt the slight heat from my eyes glowing gold and that same heat began to spread to my fingertips.

Moments later I released my hands from her and sure enough, her wounds were healed and no longer bleeding.

I looked up to see Nicholas, Alpha of the white wolves pack, running up to me with such speed as he finally reached me and engulfed me in a warm hug.

"Is this hug because you missed me or because I just saved your sister's life once again?" I giggled as my winged wrapped around our embrace, bringing us much closer.

"Why can't it be for both?" He said as we broke apart momentarily for him to gently caress the hair away from my face as he looked me deep into my eyes, his deep blue eyes pulling into his loving gaze cause a heat to rise to my face.

"You're so mushy sometimes," I laughed as I pushed him away from me abruptly, almost as if I had a sense of guilt for making a man feel this way for me other than my mate.
