"Alpha Derek is one of the most dangerous Alpha's of the deadliest and merciless Alpha's of the Northern region, he's worse than Alpha Jason," Nicholas stated as we both sat in his office while I stared up at the ceiling, thinking about how I would go on about my next mission.

"And I am one of the most deadliest creatures in the world, you think a simple Alpha is going to scare me?" I said finally turning my head to his direction.

"Well no not scare but definitely put up more of a fight than you are used to, even us white wolves fear him. His methods of torture are inhuman and he kills with no mercy and he destroys packs for the fun of it-"

I cut him off at the end of his sentence.

"He's not as dangerous as me plus that gives me all the more reason to eliminate him from this world," I hissed as I stood up, glaring over at Nicholas.

Just then Eve burst into the room and shook her head as she walked towards me.

"Your target is not to be eliminated, it's more of a secret co-op mission where you need to find some intel but in no means are you allowed to assassinate him," Eve instructed me.

"You'll need a cover story then if you're going to go undercover," Nicholas interjected.

"I am the highest ranking Assassin Angel not some under cover agent, he needed to be eliminated long ago and now you're telling me that the Moon Goddess is telling me not to?!" I looked at Eve with confusion.

It's rumored that he has a secret weapon that he plans on using to start a war, you would think the Moon Goddess would know all of this anyway but it seems as though this is something that you need to learn for yourself without her telling so looks like you'll have to put on your best acting skills," She explained.

What I would have done to switch places with Eve in this moment, she was given the task to disguise herself as a vampire so that she could take out the dangerous clan leader of a coven, something so quick and simple that I could have done but instead I was given a mission that didn't even involve assassination.

"Fine then, what's my cover for this mission?" I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"What about an omega from a recently destroyed pack, that will explain why you don't have a normal scent like a werewolf, human mother and werewolf father," Nicholas suggested.

"I absolutely fucking hate this, how the fuck am I supposed to conceal the real me? I am one of the most powerful beings on this planet and now you're expecting me to bow down to an Alpha?!" I spat the word Alpha.

Never again did I want to feel weak against another Alpha, never again did I want to be manipulated into thinking that I was anything less than what I was.

No man nor Alpha shall hold that power over me ever again.

"Avangeline calm down, it's not that serious," Eve shouted.

I turned to her with a furious expression written all over my face.

"It is that serious and if someone fucking calls me that one more time I'll cut your tongue out of your fucking mouth," I stormed out of the office and out of the house. I outstretched my wings and took off into the pinkish orange sky of the setting sun.

I didn't want to be bothered, I just wanted to be alone for a moment to collect myself. Nothing should be able to trigger me this much, I've seen so many things, so much blood has stained my hands and yet I was so bothered by some simple Alpha. I had a feeling and I just couldn't shake it away.

Was there something more to this?

I landed in the highest tree I could find and looked up into the beautiful sky. The clouds gently floated against the orange pinkish glow, it was like a painting before me.
