Chapter 25.

"So what happened?" Eva asked as she looked down at me.

We were currently still in the white wolf pack but this time inside of a guest room as I was laying on the bed, contemplating a few things. Eve was also in the room taking precautions, locking up the windows and doors, wrapping chains around all of them.

"What happened where?" I asked as I rolled onto my stomach, cuddling into a pillow.

"You know, inside your mind," She said as chains appeared on the walls.

I wanted her to chain me to the wall because I couldn't risk any distractions after tonight, I needed to locate Liam and send him back to where he belonged.

"Oh just a few memories of my mortal self, we were pretty adorable when we were younger, an old mate, actually how you died, why I hate my name so much andtakingDerek'slife," I quickly jumbled the last part together.

"I'm sorry what was that last part?" Eve asked as she turned to me with her arms crossed.

I sighed.

"The reason I want to stay away fromDerek during the full moon tonight because the Moon Goddess herself informed me that once we mate I will have a strong urge to want to take his life because while he is a mortal werewolf he cannot be my mate," I explained.

"Damn I just thought you were into some kinky shit, have you told him yet?" She asked.

"Yeah, he knows,"

"Well I guess all the more reason to stick knives into you if you try to break out," She grinned at me.

I rolled my eyes as I looked I looked out of the chain covered window to see the sun setting, giving off an orange and pinkish glow.

It was quite beautiful.

"I wanna go see Derek," I finally admitted after a few moments of silence.

"Girl what did I just say? Plus it's almost night time and I chained up the door already," She whined.

"Please Eve, you can even come with me and keep watch," I pleaded.

"Alright fine just shut up," She huffed as she began unlocking the door.

As soon as she unlocked the door we noticed Ariel hovering down the hall with chains in her hands.

"Hey do you know what room Derek is in?" I shouted out.

Ariel slightly jumped as she dropped all of the chains and turned around with a furious expression.

"Don't fucking do that!" She yelled out.

"Sorry," I said innocently.

"I was just going to his room, come on," She beckoned for me to follow her as she picked the chains back up.

"I'm not leaving, Ariel make sure they don't get into anything," Eve called out from the room.

I followed Ariel down the hall and up a flight of stairs and we made our way to the end of the hall.

As we entered the room we noticed Derek laying on top of the bed shirtless, just staring up at the ceiling and I couldn't help but admire his physique as he laid there so peaceful.

"Hey I got the chains you wanted and if you really wanted to get freaky I brought your mate with me as an added bonus," She said as she dropped the chains to the ground.

He looked up from the bed with a annoyed expression.

"I thought you wanted to stay away from me?" He questioned.
