April sighed, standing at the entrance to the lair. She wasn't sure how this was gonna go, and she assumed the worst. But she had to at least try and apologize. She took a breath, exhaled softly, and stepped in. She walked straight to the living room, where she heard the T.V. playing what sounded similar to The Ring.

She poked her head in, spotting Casey sitting on the couch with a (hopefully) sleeping Donnie in his lap. She noticed it was only those two, and decided now was her chance. She carefully stepped out, tensing up as Casey's head suddenly snapped to face her.

Casey's eyes widened, only one thought crossed his mind, beginning to see red. No- no! Protect Donnie- I can't let her hurt him again! He removed himself from the couch, pulling out a switchblade from his pocket. "Red- Why are you here?" He growled.

"Wait Casey I-"
"I'm not gonna let you hurt him again! Not for a third time!" The boy ran at her, switchblade at the ready.
"WAIT CASEY-" She instinctively covered her face, turning away from the oncoming teen. Then, she heard nothing. Other than some angry grunting and stomping. She turned back around slowly, confused.
Leo and Raph had arrived just in time, and we're holding the enraged teen back. They still made time to scowl at her, wondering why she was here.

"Casey, calm down. Raph, take him to the dojo so he can let off some steam." Leo ordered.
"LET ME GO! THIS IS PAYBACK!" Casey shrieked.
Raph made a stubborn mumble, which she couldn't quite catch, and walked off. He dragged Casey behind him by the collar of his shirt as the teen continued thrashing around. The switchblade had clattered to the ground on their way out.
Leo turned back to her, scowling still. "Why are you here?" He asked.
"Well if someone would let me explain before attacking me! I could say that I was coming here to apologize. . I don't know what happened- all I know is I couldn't stop it. It was like I was possessed or something- I know that still doesn't make up for what I did and I'm so, so sorry for that. But I just wanted you all to know that I can very well leave if you'd like. I won't even come near the sewers anymore." She said, voice wavering every once in a while.

The leader in blue didn't answer, he just looked down to the side, wondering what to say. Finally, he lifted his head and spoke. "What exactly happened, April?" He asked slowly.
"What do you mean?" She blinked.
"What did you do to him, what caused this, how- . . . How did he end up like that-? Casey told me all he knew, but I know he wasn't as involved. Based on his injuries, at least."
"I- could I explain to everyone? Its very long. . And I don't want the possibility of Donnie waking up and hearing it-" She asked.
"Good idea. I'll get sensei and Mikey, you go to the dojo."
She nodded and left. Leo went the opposite direction, thinking to himself as he walked.

Everyone was in the dojo by now. Well, everyone but Donnie and Casey, of course. Donnie couldn't for obvious reasons and Casey refused to go near April. They all sat on the mat, waiting for the redhead to explain everything.
And she did. Every detail she knew.
"And- and when I tried to save him my powers just- glitched somehow."
"How so, April?" Splinter spoke up, stroking his beard.
"I- I don't know. It would work for a few seconds and then just- shut off. I- I wish I knew sensei. . I'm sorry." April sighed.
Splinter simply nodded, thinking.
"So- what now? We can't really have you guys in the same room anymore, otherwise something bad could happen." Mikey pointed out.
"We can explain to Donnie when he wakes up, I'm sure he'll understand." Leo stated.

"I doubt it, he will have to have some time to think, my son's. It has most likely affected him greatly, so he will need time. And so will Casey." Splinter spoke up, standing. He turned to April, nodding. "Thank you for explaining, if everyone else agrees, including Donatello and Casey, you may return. And I can attempt to help you with your powers once more."
April nodded back. "Thank you, sensei."
Splinter simply nodded, taking his leave.
