Love so complicated

chapter 5

-Chapter 5-

Sehun exhaled and look at himself mirror. He closed his eyes and tried to meditate. He felt someone moving toward him, he opened his eyes to look at the door. He saw a familiar figure coming out of the bathroom. The figure came in and glanced at sehun. Sehun blinked multiple times. He hurriedly packed his things. He heard loud voices coming from outside. It was like people screaming and banging doors. The voices were coming near the restroom. Sehun wrinkled, should he go out or not?

"WHERE IS HE? FIND HIM!!!"
"BOSS! HERE!!"
"GET OUT, BASTARD!" 

The figure closed the door. Sehun looked at him in confusion. The figure took out his phone and called someone. Sehun was ready and was about to go. The footsteps and voices started getting louder. The figure held his hand. "Don't go, it's not safe!!" he said. Sehun furrowed, what is he saying?

"You may get in trouble," he said. 

The door was banged. The figure pinned Sehun to the basin which startled him. "HEY! What are you doing?!" Sehun pushed him.

"Look, right now I need your help. Help me." The figure again and got closer to him.

"Why would I help you?" Sehun again pushed him back. "I saved you on the streets, now help me?" The figure said. Sehun was ready to push him but then realized he got a point. 

"What kind of help is this?" Sehun asked. The door was opened wide.

"Cover me." The figure mumbled. Sehun encircled his hands around the figure, as to cover his face. The figure held him by the waist. "What an idiot help is this? They are not going to recognize you if we are like this?" Sehun scoffed.

"People always look away when two people are expressing love by kissing or whatever. Civil war reference, don't you know?" The figure said. Sehun looked at him, he was so close to him. These eyes... he may have seen somewhere. He unknowingly adored him, those eyes were drowning him. 

The opened door welcomed someone. "Excuse me?" a soft voice was heard, The figure furrowed. He looked at where the voice came from.

"Yes?" The figure asked. "May I wash my hands?" The person said. The figure and Sehun both were dumbfounded. "WHAT? Where are those guys?" The figure glanced out.

"Oh yeah a group of guys was there but the police took them away a few minutes ago." The person said. 

"Oh..." The figure looked at Sehun. "We are even." he said.

"I am running late and this..." Sehun mumbled while packing his things which got messed up. He saw the figure going away. "It's all because of that bastard." he mumbled. He looked at the person. "GO WASH YOUR HANDS!!" he yelled and walked away.

The person was dumbfounded, "Did I disturb them?"

Sehun hurried to the dining room, he looked at his phone there were 23 messages from Yuqi. He opened them, and they say -Brother, come faster. They are again talking about marriage- and many more. Sehun sighed he finally found the dining room and knocked on the door. 

He entered the room. He glanced at Yuqi and then at his parents. He looked at the other side, he saw the exact figure. He was shocked he, isn't the one he is going to marry, right? He hesitantly took a place beside the figure because it was the only place empty. He looked at him like 'what the fuck you're doing here?' the person shrugged.

"Sehun, he is Mr. Jeongin." Sejoong introduced him to Sehun, and he nodded and bowed to him. Jeongin smiled at him. "This is his younger son, Lucas." Sejoong said.

Sehun nodded and smiled. "He is the elder son, Kim Kai," Sejoong said pointing to the figure. Sehun was stunned, WHAT?! HIM?!

Sehun looked at him. Kai made eye contact. Kai had a cold face while Sehun rolled his eyes. He was hurrying for him?

"Sehun..." Yoora gestured to him to show respect. Sehun gave him a forced smile. Kai still had a cold face. Sehun was annoyed by this. "Mom, what's happening?" Sehun pretended to be unsure. "Ah, the thing is..." Yoora whispered the whole thing to him which he already knew. Sehun resorted to it.

"But why are you dragging Yuqi? She's just a child." Sehun said. "If not Yuqi then whom he will get married to?" Sejoong asked. "But..." Sehun sighed. "Sehun, it's only a business deal, it's a contract marriage for a year that's it," Sejoong said. Sehun tried his best to keep Yuqi out of this but he couldn't win over his dad's decision.

"Mom? Are you supporting this?" Sehun whispered to Yoora. "Sehun even though I don't want my child to get married at this young age." Yoora sighed. "Then why did you agree to it?!" Sehun asked.

"Sehun after all it's for her future and Kai isn't a bad person." Yoora looked at Kai. "Mom? Are you serious? Don't tell me you're trying to make this marriage real at some point?!" Sehun was shocked.

"If my daughter is happy? Then yes, and she looks so happy, she has been looking at Kai since when. They'll make a good couple." Yoora smiled. "Mom?! She's just 20? are you serious?!" Sehun was in disbelief. "Yeah, I know..." Yoora nodded.

"How old is he?" Sehun furrowed. "He's 34," Yoora said.  "34 MOM? are you serious a 14-year gap?!" Sehun yelled out loud but lowered his voice.

"It's all okay in love." Yoora chuckled. "What? They are not even in love? What are you talking about?!" Sehun was disturbed by his Mom's behavior.

"They will someday in the future." Yoora smiled. "You're not the one to decide someone's future?" Sehun said bluntly. "Shh... They are talking about marriage." Yoora didn't listen to him and shushed him.

Sehun sighed. He looked at her innocent sister and the beast sitting beside him. How the fuck they can make a couple? They are not even in height. Am I jealous of my sister? Ew.

The deal was getting final, and Sehun was trying his best to keep Yuqi out of this. Yuqi looked at him with upset eyes. Sehun blinked and gave a comforting smile. Kai was looking at Sehun panicking now and then. The deal was final and next month they were going to hold a marriage between Kai and Yuqi. Sehun sighed. He couldn't do anything to call off the marriage. He was not given a chance to speak. He looked at kai, why didn't he speak anything? He is okay to marry someone this younger than him? 

Kai was confused, why was Sehun looking at him as if he was going to kill him? Suddenly Kai's phone had a ting, he took a glance at his phone and smiled slightly. At this point, Sehun was trying to peep into his phone but he turned off the phone too soon. Sehun huffed, he was curious about what the hell in the world made him smile. 

They were greeting goodbyes to each other. Sehun smiled at Jeongin and Lucas but Kai. Though Kai didn't even glance at anyone and walked out after he had another ting on his phone, Sehun furrowed. He needs to know who is, that makes him smile and run like that?!

"Excuse me, he is not like that something important must have come up." Jeongin laughed it off. But Sehun was suspicious enough of him. He needs to know his sister's life depends on him. But right now he was tense about Yuqi, she is gonna kill him for not calling off the marriage.
