Chapter 15

-Chapter 15-

A day before the wedding.

Everything was going as it should. Nothing new is happening in the company. Regular customers and meetings with them were held. While Linda was panicking. "Where the hell is boss? He is not picking up?! There's a meeting with Mr. Kim in the next ten minutes."

Linda was in her office calling her boss. Sehun was nowhere to be found. It was weird, she called his home, and his friends but no one saw him. She even managed to get his address yet no one was found. His office was yet locked. For sure Linda had the keys. But she just can't go in without the boss. She has to be where his boss is.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kim and his teammates already arrived for the meeting. Linda's panicking level was just rising straight. She made them sit in the meeting room. After twenty minutes, Kai wasn't feeling it. He got up and walked out. Linda followed him. He stood in front of Sehun's office.

"Where's he?"

"I don't know, sir. He isn't picking up the call. I called and ask everyone around him, but there's no news of him."

"Open it."

Linda did what she was told to. Even though she's not allowed to open the office without her boss's permission but she can't deny Kai. Because of the power and aura that man holds. Kai entered the office and closed the door. Linda stood out dumbfounded. Kai smelled something. He looked around and suddenly a bottle hit his foot. He picked it up, it was empty. Although no one was seen there. Suddenly some noise was heard. Kai instinctively looked in that direction. It was a foot behind the huge couch in the corner of the room.

He peeked down from the couch, there lay Sehun, hangover and half-naked. It was unbelievable for a second. Kai helped him to get up. He placed him on the couch and sprinkled some water on his face. While his head was resting on Kai's shoulder, his eyes opened slowly. He was numb and had a massive headache. While trying to keep his eyes open, he looked around and took a blurry scan of the place. He finally got up from the support and held his head tight.

"Water?"

Sehun took the glass and gulped it down. He wasn't a bit aware of his surroundings. He was still a bit unconscious and couldn't see or hear much. After rubbing his eyes, "Linda, today's meeting with that stupid Kai, rig-"

As soon as he swirled to look at 'Linda' he stopped mid-air. He blinked his eyes vigorously. Even rubbed his eyes in the sense that he might be daydreaming or shit. Kai raised his eyebrow as he went closer, "Who again?"

Sehun choked on air and stood up immediately, "What the fuck are you even doing here?" he walked around to gather his pieces of clothes lying around. He quickly wore his shirt but struggled to button it up. Kai got up and walked in closer. His hands reached out to Sehun's shirt.

As soon as Sehun's fingers touched Kai's he looked up at him. Kai looked at the hands pulled the shirt, and looked up at Sehun. Kai buttoned up his shirt, "Mr. Oh, you're still tipsy or having a hangover. I advise you to rest, we'll hold the meeting some day later."

Sehun flicked his hands off him, "No! If it has been decided to hold today. No other day would work. Mr. Kim, if you're in no hurry could you wait ten minutes?"

Kai shrugged and flopped on the couch, "Well, we've been already waiting for 20 minutes."

Sehun looked at him, "Ten More minutes... Please." he clenched his teeth. Kai smirked and nodded. Sehun went into his bathroom to get quickly freshened up. While tucking his shirt into his pants, he came out of the bathroom. "AH, WHAT TH-" He was scared to death to see Kai still in there.

Kai turned around as he heard Sehun's scream, he was checking out random books from the shelf. Sehun looked for his files, but he didn't seem to find them. "Where are my files?" he whispered to himself. Kai put back the book and walked out. He met Linda outside standing. Kai gave her a nod and walked away. Linda went into the room immediately. "Ahh... Boss! Where were you??!! Do you even know how worried I was that I got my boss drunk and lost him??"

Sehun was in a hurry, "Well, save that for later. We'll talk about it. Bring my files to the meeting room right now!!" he ran out of his office while greeting everyone on his way. Linda struggled to catch up behind him with all those files. Sehun crossed himself and tried to put on a happy smile before entering the office. However, after entering all he saw was an empty room with just one person sitting on his chair while smirking. Sehun took a deep breath and closed the door. Linda almost ran into it. Twice a day now.

Sehun walked up to him, "Where are the others?"

Kai shrugged, "Oh well, there's a principle in my company, don't wait for people who make you wait."

Sehun raised his eyebrows while wry smiling. "Oh? Then how about you follow your principle then?"

Kai smiled and stood up, "Don't worry, I'm leaving too. I stayed so I could inform you that, the deal between our companies is no longer valid."

Sehun was astonished, "Wh-what?"

Kai smirked, "It was valid until you were 30 minutes late." he almost walked out of there. As soon as he reached the doorknob, suddenly a hand stopped him. Kai looked at him.

Sehun tried his best, "I've helped you a lot of times, and we're going to be family, right? So, don't you think you should be a little easy on a newbie?"

Kai huffed, "Time isn't new to anyone. However, you still can save the deal by doing me a favor."

Sehun never had such relief in his entire life, he smiled. "What? Just tell me! I'll do anything, you say!"

Kai said calmly, "Help me choose an outfit for tomorrow."

Sehun was too stunned to speak at the moment, "You know what? I'm not even surprised that you want me to choose an outfit for you. What surprises me  is that tomorrow is your wedding and that means you don't even have a wedding suit for tomorrow."

Kai nodded, "Yeah, that's why I asked you to help?"

Sehun was so done, "Kai, you- do have any idea what marriage is? You're going to marry my sister, how are you so careless? H-how are you so nonreactive and like it's the last thing you care about?!"

Kai was still calm, "Do you want me to get excited about the wedding where the bride is 15 years younger than me? Well, she is your sister too?"

Sehun sealed his mouth, and Kai got a point, "Well if you don't want to marry her then why are you doing it?"

Kai nodded, it was a simple question but he still didn't seem to find the right answer for it, "There are things you need to do, even if you despise them. That's how you can live."

Sehun shrugged, "I can't relate to you in any way. Whatever, but remember she's my sister you better treat her right. Even if you don't want to be involved in this thing, do consider she's still young, and immature."

Kai smiled, "Well, you can trust me on that."

Sehun rolled his eyes a bit, "Let's go, wherever you wanna go."

Kai held the door for Sehun even before he finished talking. Sehun while controlling his anger, walked out followed by Kai.
