Jason hesitated before speaking, choosing his words carefully.

"It's about the person Bunny was going to marry... Sehun, Kai."

Kai's eyes widened in shock. "What? No, that's impossible."

Kai's eyes locked onto Jason's, his gaze burning with intensity. "What do you mean?"

Jason's expression turned grave, his voice barely above a whisper. "Bunny had planned to marry Sehun, exploiting his family's wealth and influence. It was all part of his scheme to gain control over the business world."

Kai felt like he'd been punched in the gut, his breath knocked out of him. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Sehun, his Sehun, had been Bunny's target all along.

"How did you find out?" Kai demanded, his voice low and menacing.

Jason hesitated before speaking, choosing his words carefully. "I managed to infiltrate Bunny's inner circle, gathering intel on his plans. It wasn't easy, but I finally uncovered the truth."

Kai's mind reeled with questions. How could Bunny do this? Why Sehun? What did he plan to do with Sehun's family's wealth?

He needed to protect Sehun, no matter what. Kai's instincts kicked in, his protective nature taking over.

"Keep digging," Kai ordered, his voice firm. "I want to know everything. Every detail, every plan, every move Bunny makes."

Jason nodded, his eyes locked onto Kai's. "I'll find out more, but we need to be careful. Bunny's network is vast, and he won't hesitate to strike."

As Kai left the office, his thoughts were consumed by Sehun's safety. He couldn't shake the feeling of unease.

What if Bunny had already made his move? What if Sehun was already in danger?

Kai quickened his pace, his heart racing with anticipation.

Back home, Sehun was blissfully unaware of the danger lurking. He was busy preparing dinner, humming to himself as he chopped vegetables.

"Kai, how was your meeting?" Sehun asked, as Kai walked in.

Kai forced a smile, trying to hide his concern. "Just business."

Sehun raised an eyebrow, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "You're worried about something."

Kai pulled Sehun into a tight hug, holding him close.

"I just realized how much I love you," Kai whispered, his voice trembling.

Sehun's eyes softened, his arms wrapping around Kai. "I...."

But Kai shushed him and just kissed him softly, "It's okay."

Though Kai's fear lingered, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.

Would Bunny harm Sehun to get what he wanted?

Kai knew he had to keep Sehun safe, no matter the cost.

As they sat down for dinner, Kai's eyes never left Sehun's face.

He would protect him, with every breath in his body.

As Sehun was walking in his balcony with Emma in his hands. Kai joined him and stood there, watching him. Sehun was amazed by the baby still. "Sehun." A low voice called him, he turned around with a smile.

"It's time for her sleep." Kai said. Sehun nodded, "I'll just tuck her in."

While Kai waited in the balcony, Sehun joined him, "Kai, about..."
