Kai's head hung low as he desperately sought an excuse to unravel the mess. "Kai, look at me," Sehun urged, gently lifting Kai's chin. "Am I right, Kai? Is it true?"

Kai couldn't bear to meet Sehun's tearful gaze. "Sehun, listen to me..."

"What's Bunny's real name, Kai? Tell me," Sehun demanded, his voice firm.

Kai's throat constricted as he stammered, "It's Y-Yoonseo..."

Sehun sprang up, overwhelmed by the revelation. He rushed to the balcony, gasping for air as he struggled to process his emotions. Kai swiftly followed, turning Sehun around to face him.

"Sehun, listen to me. It's okay, calm down," Kai soothed, gently caressing Sehun's face. Sehun clutched Kai's hand, his eyes brimming with tears.

"So, you're telling me that Bunny, your friend who's trying to hurt us, is actually Yoonseo, my ex? And he's trying to hurt you because you married me?"

Kai sighed, his expression somber. "We don't know yet why he's trying to hurt us, okay? You don't have to worry about it. I'll handle everything. I'm here."

Sehun's face etched with concern as he placed a hand on Kai's face. "What if something happens to you?"

Kai's lips curled into a reassuring smile. "For you, it'll be my pleasure."

Sehun's eyes sparkled with amusement as he playfully tapped Kai's chest. "Silly." As they embraced, their comforting hug gradually turned into a tender moment. As they pulled back, they leaned in, their lips meeting in a gentle kiss.

As they broke apart from their kiss, Kai gently guided Sehun towards the bed. They sat down together, and Kai wrapped his arms around Sehun, holding him close.

Sehun nestled his head into the crook of Kai's neck, feeling safe and protected. They sat there in silence for a moment, the only sound being their gentle breathing.

Kai stroked Sehun's hair, his fingers gentle and soothing. Sehun closed his eyes, feeling his tension and anxiety melt away.

After a while, Kai leaned back against the headboard, pulling Sehun with him. They settled in together, Sehun's head on Kai's chest.

As they lay there, Kai began to hum a soft melody. Sehun's eyes fluttered open, and he smiled up at Kai.

"It's our favourite song." Sehun asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Kai smiled. "I thought it might help you relax."

Sehun's eyes drifted closed again, and he let the soothing sound of Kai's humming wash over him. As he drifted off to sleep, he felt grateful for Kai's presence in his life.

As Sehun drifted off to sleep, Kai's mind began to wander. He couldn't shake off the feeling that he was somehow responsible for the pain Sehun had endured in the past.

Kai's thoughts went back to the revelation about Yoonseo's true identity. He couldn't believe that his once a best friend was Sehun's ex, the person who had hurt him so deeply.

Kai's mind was filled with "what ifs." What if he had known about Yoonseo's past with Sehun? Could he have prevented the pain that Sehun had endured?

As Kai lay there, lost in his thoughts, Sehun stirred in his arms. Kai looked down to see Sehun's eyes fluttering open.

"Hey," Sehun whispered, his voice husky with sleep.

"Hey," Kai replied, trying to sound calm despite the turmoil in his mind.
