Kai knew he had to make things right with Sehun, but he didn't know where to start. He had tried apologizing, explaining himself, but nothing seemed to work.
One day, as he was sitting in his office, staring blankly at a report, he had an idea. He would find a way to prove to Sehun that he was committed to their relationship, that he was willing to do whatever it took to make things right.
Kai spent the rest of the day brainstorming, coming up with a plan. He would start by showing Sehun that he was so serious about their relationship, that he was willing to work through their issues.
The next day, Kai put his plan into action. He started by showing up at Sehun's office, unannounced. Sehun looked up, surprised, as Kai walked in.
"What are you doing here?" Sehun asked, his voice wary.
Kai took a deep breath. "I want to talk to you," he said. "I want to work through our issues, to find a way to move forward."
Sehun raised an eyebrow. "And why should I listen to you?" he asked.
Kai hesitated, unsure of how to respond. But then, he remembered something. He remembered the way Sehun used to smile at him, the way he used to laugh.
"Because I..." Kai said, his voice barely above a whisper. "And I don't want to lose you."
Sehun was hoping for something more. "I don't wanna talk right now." He couldn't help but leave. He couldn't bear to look at Kai like this. But he couldn't just forgive him either. He was hurt too.
Days had passed since the argument, and Kai and Sehun's relationship had been on shaky ground. They had barely spoken to each other, and when they did, it was only to discuss mundane things like household chores or schedules.
Their once-happy home was now a cold and empty space, filled with tension and unspoken words. They had started sleeping in separate bedrooms, and it seemed like they were just going through the motions of being married.
The distance between them had grown so wide that it seemed insurmountable. They were like two strangers living under the same roof, each one waiting for the other to make the first move.
As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, it seemed like their marriage was on the brink of collapse. They were on the verge of getting a divorce, and it seemed like nothing could stop it.
Kai's friends, Jason and Shawn, had tried to talk to him, to get him to see sense, but Kai was too hurt, too angry. He felt like Sehun had betrayed him, like he had never really known him at all.
Sehun, on the other hand, was feeling lost and alone. He had never meant to hurt Kai, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that Kai had kept the truth from him. He felt like he was living in a nightmare, and he didn't know how to wake up.
Their love story, which had once been so full of promise, was now on the brink of collapse. And it seemed like nothing could save it.
As the days went by, the silence between Kai and Sehun grew thicker, like a fog that refused to lift. They would pass each other in the hallway, their eyes meeting for a brief moment before they looked away.
Their friends and family tried to intervene, but Kai and Sehun were too far gone. They were like two ships passing in the night, each one sailing further and further away from the other.
One day, as Kai was packing his bags to leave for a business trip, he saw Sehun standing in the doorway, watching him. For a moment, their eyes met, and Kai felt a pang of sadness.
"Sehun," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Sehun didn't respond. He just turned and walked away, leaving Kai feeling empty and alone.
As Kai left for his trip, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was losing Sehun forever. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of despair, and he didn't know how to keep his head above water.
Meanwhile, Sehun was feeling just as lost. He was wandering around the empty house, feeling like a ghost haunting his own life. He missed Kai, but he was too proud to admit it.
As the days went by, Sehun started to realize that he couldn't keep living like this. He needed to make a change, to take a step towards healing and moving on.
But as he stood in the doorway of their bedroom, looking at the empty space where Kai used to sleep, he felt a pang of uncertainty. Could he really move on from Kai? And did he even want to?
Sehun's eyes wandered around the room, taking in the memories that lingered in every corner. He remembered the way Kai used to make him laugh, the way he used to hold him at night.
As he stood there, lost in thought, Sehun felt a lump in his throat. He missed Kai, he realized. He missed him terribly.
Just then, Sehun's phone buzzed. He looked down to see a text from Kai.
"Hey," the message read. "I'm thinking about you."
Sehun's heart skipped a beat. He hadn't expected to hear from Kai, especially not after the way things had been between them.
For a moment, Sehun just stared at the message, unsure of how to respond. But then, something inside of him shifted. He realized that he didn't have to be angry anymore, that he didn't have to hold onto his pride.
"Hey," Sehun typed back, his fingers trembling slightly as he hit send.
Kai responded immediately. "Can we talk?" he asked.
Sehun hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say. But then, he nodded to himself, even though Kai couldn't see him.
"Yes," Sehun typed. "We can talk."
As Sehun waited for Kai's response, he felt a sense of hope that he hadn't felt in weeks. Maybe, just maybe, they could work through their issues and come out stronger on the other side.
Kai's response came quickly. "I'll be home tomorrow," he said. "We can talk then."
Sehun's heart skipped a beat as he read the message. He hadn't expected Kai to come home so soon, but now that he thought about it, it made sense. They needed to talk, to work through their issues and figure out where they went from here.
As Sehun waited for Kai to come home, he couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. He was nervous, anxious, and scared, but he was also hopeful. Maybe, just maybe, they could work through their issues and come out stronger on the other side.
The next day, Sehun had taken day off. He wanted to welcome Kai when he comes home. He was ready to talk. He was ready to finish the mess once for all. He wanted to move on from the past. Just as Sehun was getting ready to meet Kai, he received a frantic call from an unknown number.
"Sehun, it's Bunny," the voice on the other end said. "I've got someone you care about deeply. If you want to see him again, you'll do exactly as I say."
Sehun's heart skipped a beat as he heard Kai's muffled voice in the background.
"Bunny, what have you done?" Sehun demanded, trying to keep his cool.
