Chapter 7

Same day as last chapter.

Your POV

I finish getting ready for my shift, putting my sword in my belt in its sheath. I am just wearing my normal uniform which is just my iron chest piece and helmet. I head out of my room. "I'm ready," I announce.
"Well let's see then." Enderlox says from the lounge.

I walk in and stand at the doorway as he smiles. "You look good." He says walking over.
"It's just my normal uniform."
"Do you have your sword?" He asks, probably making sure I've got everything.
"Check," I say pulling it out showing him. "I think I'll be needing a new one soon," looking at all the dents on it.

"I don't think you'll need a new one. Pass it here." He say and I give him my sword.
He holds it in his right hand while he holds his other over it. He starts chanting some words I can't understand. Then my sword starts glowing. When the light goes he hands it back to me. I study it and realise all the dents are gone.

"Y-you fixed it. Thank you." I say hugging him.
"I wouldn't want one of my armies favourite guards losing their sword would I. Plus I don't think it will need repairing any time soon."
"And why would that be?"
"I made it unbraking." He says proudly.
"Thank you."

"Well I better go now," I say putting my sword in its sheath. "See you tomorrow?"
"See you then."

-time skip-

I arrive at my post as Alison is just finishing. When she sees me she's runs up giving me a hug. I hug back. "Welcome back."
"Thanks. I'd better be getting started now."

Alison leaves towards her home and I stand at my post as the sun starts setting. One of my favourite things when I'm on guard is the sunset. Let's get started.

Not even ten minutes later my boss rushes up to me. "Hello again (y/n). Sorry to interrupt but Lord Sky has requested you at a meeting."
"W-why me?"
"I'm sure he'll explain when we get there." He says sounding rushed. "Let's go."

I obey knowing if I don't he'll be in trouble.

-time skip to the sky army kingdom (idk XD)-

As the castle is in view I am astounded (big words, yay) by its yellow towers and walls. The light of the streets and castle reflecting off it making it shine.
"Amazing isn't it?" My boss say as we walk to the castle gates.
"Yeah."

One of the guards on duty stops us. "Who goes there and what's your business?" he demands.
"Keith, leader of Dead army, here with (y/n) our best guard to see Lord Sky."
"Oh sorry about that. Go ahead."
We step through the gate and make our way to the castle.

We arrive at the castle being stopped by another guard. My boss explains the same things he did to the other guard and lets us in. "Keith." A voice from down the hall yells. "Your back."

A figure is then clearly seen down the hall. A battle suit of different shades of grey, black gloves with white lining, red shoes with white laces. Scruffy brown hair tied into a pony tail at the back with a yellow tie, obsidian glasses and an amulet of gold (it's easier Soz) with an amethyst in the centre. His blue cape flowing behind him. Sky.

He greets Keith with a manly like hug then he looks at me. "Look who we have here. if it isn't my best friend Tys best guard. Pleasure to meet you." He says holding out his hand. I shake it being polite.
"Yes it is seeing our leaders friend." Though in my mind I know he isn't Sky's friend anymore.

"So what did you need me for?" I ask confused.
"I'll explain at the meeting." Sky says and I'm lead to a room that I'm guessing is where the meeting is. Inside is the rest of Team Crafted including Seto. They are all looking at me.

Keith guides me to a seat next to Jason and Jerome me sitting in between them. Sky takes his place at the front.
"Thanks for all coming on such short notice. Especially Keith, leader of our beloved Tys army who after two years is still missing. And as you can see there is also someone else here tonight." I gulp. "We also have their best night guard with us (y/n)."

Once again everyone turns to me. "Uh, hi." I say nervously.
"She has been taking time off and when she turned up late to work a week or so ago she said that she was in the 'haunted forest'. For all we know it could be him" How much stuff does Keith need to tell him?

The table starts to chat on the topic and I get an uneasy feeling. "Is this true that you were there?" Sky asks me."
"Y-yes."
"How did you survive? Did you see what lurked there?"

"I don't know how I survived and I don't know what lurks there." I lie.
"Come on (y/n) I know that you saw something. So, tell us." Sky says sounding frustrated with my answer.
"I said I don't know what's in there and I don't know how I survived, ok!"

"Settle down. Well anyway I was wandering that if you would want to take two people in to look around to see what lurks there. Will you?"
"Uh, sure."
"Ok so who will volunteer to go."

"I will." I look to my left to see Jason with his hand raised.
"I will too." I look to my right to see Jerome also having his hand raised.

"Ok you leave in a month. Meeting dismissed."

Great, now I have to look after two people in the forest. And I have to keep Ty from hurting them. This is going to be fun.

Yay, my testing is over and I can finally update my story. This as you may know is the 1k special for this book. Tomorrow will be either a face reveal or q'n'a book starting.

At the moment there is 2 more hours of voting time. If I don't get anymore votes what should I do? Do both or get a friend of mine to choose. You decide on all that is going to happen in the next 24 hours for this book.
