~Three days since the destruction of Elegia...

Uta, now having a room for herself, has refused to do anything other than eat, bathroom, and idle. She hasn't even talked to Gordon since that day. During most of her time, she would dream of herself looking out the window to see the happy bustling of citizens and the warm smiles of the Red Hair Pirates, but then she would face reality and see nothing but barren walls and destroyed buildings. Sometimes, she would even wonder if maybe what she saw on those few days before were just a figment of her imagination. In the end, looking through the eyes of a demon is unthinkable.

Why are the visions so vivid?

There are moments where she can hear the people singing in the background and people talking to her. There's still the possibility that some have survived the ordeal, surely!

Gordon checked every corner of the island for any survivors and found none, but...

Every once in a while, she can see the ship of the Red Hair Pirates sail from the distance coming back to shore and Uta would run out to the balcony to see for herself. Alas, when she goes outside she sees no ship over the horizon.

Shanks said I'm not welcome on the ship, didn't he?

For hours and hours, Uta has hoped for the impossible. It came to the point where her constant worries begin to affect her health. Gordon would come by to Uta's room to check up on her and offer her food by leaving it at the doorstep. He would always consider having a talk with her, but he couldn't bring himself to have a conversation as he feels like the time isn't right. He knows that Uta needs comfort from the ordeal and he will need to open up to her eventually. Just not now.

~Four days since the destruction of Elegia...

Knock. Knock.

"Uta, can I come in?" Gordon asks from behind the door.

There was no response, but Gordon suspected much. He can't get closer to the girl unless he gets in contact with her so he opens the door and peeks inside. Gordon was shocked to see the once nicely set room is in tatters. The bed sheets were thrown and the wooden furniture knocked over. Picture frames and vases were smashed on the floor. In the center of it all, is Uta. Gordon would've assumed that he would've heard something, but he had no idea this was happening behind the scenes. Perhaps it happened when he was outside.

"Uta?"

Before Gordon could get closer, a vase is thrown towards him. In just in the name of time, Gordon ducks quickly and the pottery smashes against the wall. The king looks at the young girl to see her breathing heavily with eyes bloodshot. It's almost like she's a different child.

"Why are you here?" Uta growls.

"I'm just here to talk." Gordon said calmly.

"Just leave!" Uta yells as she throws a picture frame at the king.

Gordon dodges again but he wasn't enough and the frame hit his arms which only slightly hurt.

"Uta, please just..."

"Just leave me!" Uta yells. "Why do you want to talk to a monster like me?!"

"Please, don't call yourself that." Gordon said sadly.

"I'm a murderer! A demon! I was abandoned!" Uta yells with tears in her eyes. "Shanks must hate me for destroying your kingdom doesn't he!"

"No, he doesn't..."
