Uta's Idol.

A Family Reunion.

I could barely wait once I had this chapter finished. I want to make this chapter a bit of a holiday or in my case, Christmas feel to it and I wanted to add a special something that I never gave to Uta. I hope the pacing in this chapter doesn't feel too forced. I don't own One Piece.

Once Uta finished her singing, the combination of emotion and use of her devil fruit put Uta into a deep slumber. Gordon invites Shanks to their current living place for which the pirate accepts and carries Uta back. Both Shanks and Gordon bow in front of the flags before heading off as a sign of respect and thanks. Once inside the building, Gordon makes tea for Shanks and himself while the young diva sleeps. Uta sleeps peacefully, Shanks lays her on his lap and caresses her hair softly. Gordon watches with a smile and sips his tea, but then he looks at Shanks with a concerned face as the pirate refuses to take off his cloak.

"What has happened since you left Elegia?" Gordon asks. "I can only assume that the world is in shambles after the cover up."

Shanks didn't respond and looked away from the king.

"I'll answer your questions when Uta wakes up." Shanks said. "I'll tell you both everything."

"As you wish." Gordon said.

~About thirty minutes later...

"Mmm..."

Uta slowly stirs in her sleep and slowly opens her eyes.

I'm waking up? Uta asks, still drowsy. Oh, yeah. I finished my concert using my devil fruit and then I saw...

Uta looks up and sees the face of her father. She scurries away from his lap and rolls on the ground in shock.

"SHANKS?!" Uta screams as her eyes pop outs. "It wasn't a dream?!"

"Wasn't a dream." Shanks answers waving. "Hi, Uta."

Uta looks at her father with confused feelings. Happiness, anger, sadness, and shock. She can't choose what to choose from.

"Uta."

The young diva turns to see Gordon approaching her from her side.

"I invited Shanks over." Gordon said. "I'm sorry, but I thought it would only be natural to invite your father to your first concert. I'm sorry if this is too overwhelming for you."

Uta looks at Shanks who's still hiding the majority of himself.

"If he had any decency, he would show himself to me in full." Uta said angrily. "Not hiding behind a piece of tacky cloth."

"Uta, there's a good reason for this..."

Uta doesn't give Shanks to explain and grabs his cloak. She then pulls on it with all her might while Shanks tugs back. Gordon was about to break it up, but couldn't bring himself to get between them.

"Hold on Uta!" Shanks pleads. "Let me tell you why..."

"Shut up!" Uta yells back. "You're the last person I want to hear any excuse from!"

Shanks looks away guiltily.

"If you expect me to listen to you." Uta continues. "At least show yourself to me, you damn pirate!"

All of the sudden, Uta manages to take the cloak away from Shanks and by doing so lands on the ground. Gordon looks at Shanks shocked and steps back a bit.

"Hah!" Uta yells triumphantly. "Serves you....right...."

Uta stares not at Shanks face, but towards his left side.

"...Your...arm..."

Uta is shocked to see that Shanks left arm is completely gone.

"...Impossible..."
