Death And Despair.

Last off, we saw Uta watching the war several moments from a balcony with Rayleigh. However Buggy has interrupted and Uta is barely emotionally stable. How will the next chain events affect Uta? Read to find out!

The crowd watching the Marineford war at the Sabaody Archipelago boo and curse at Buggy who is interrupting the broadcast by stealing a video transponder snail and using it for a publicity stunt. Uta was one of them as she was cursing at the pirate with words that she barely uses at all.

"Calm down, Uta." Rayleigh said as he grabbed the diva's shoulder.

Uta, although pretty annoyed from Buggy's interference, kept her cool.

"Why shouldn't I be mad?" Uta growls "Can't you see..."

"Whitebeard's been stabbed!"

Uta and Rayleigh turn their heads to look at the screen to see Whitebeard getting stabbed by a sword from his chest right out his back. Even more shocking is who stabbed him. It wasn't a Marine, not Crocodile, but one of the allied New World Captains. More specifically, 'Maelstrom Spider' Squard. After pulling out his sword, Whitebeard takes a knee as blood drips down his mouth. Uta never could have imagined that Whitebeard is capable of being taken by surprise.

"Squard!"

Marco flies from above and slams his ally angrily into the ship.

"Why did you attack Pops?!" Marco asks furiously.

"Shut up!" Squard yells as he swipes his sword to ward off Marco. "You're the ones who forced me into this!"

Everyone watching was silent so they could get a better listen to the conversation.

"Stop this insanity, Whitebeard!" Squard yells. "You've already made a deal with the Marines, haven't you? They promise to let you Whitebeard Pirates and Ace live, right?!"

Uta was shocked that an ally pirate would believe something like this. The pirate begins to talk, but Uta was much too stunned to listen.

"He was tricked." Uta said. "Clear as day! What proof could he have?"

"Whitebeard wouldn't make a deal with the Marines and they definitely won't make a deal with an emperor." Rayleigh said. "However, I have to wonder what they did to persuade him."

"You sold out the forty three captains following you in exchange for Ace's life!" Squard yells. "The Whitebeard Pirates and Ace would be spared! You had a deal with Sengoku! Isn't that right?"

Uta raises her eyebrows in confusion. To prove his point, Squard points his sword to the war and the camera pans to show the allied pirates getting killed and beaten by all of the Pacifistas and the majority of Marines. The Marines in the frontline were retreating back which allowed for the pirates to move. It was clear that the New World Pirates are being targeted by the Pacifistas.

"I see. How cruel." Uta said disgusted by the sight.

Even the crowd was starting to believe as they began to see what Squard was talking about.

"I didn't want to believe it..." Squard said. "But..."

"You idiot! You were fooled!" Marco yells as he grabs Squard by the collar. "Why don't you trust, Pops?"

"Don't give me that, Marco!" Squard yells.

Whitebeard stands up after hearing Squard's explanation and approaches him slowly, then the screen goes black. Everyone begins to murmur and yell in anger as they all want to know what was going on. Uta and Rayleigh just stare silently
in response. The sudden cutoff was too convenient.
