It's one bad thing after another, huh? This is chapter doesn't seem to get any better than the last. How will Uta react with the news of Ace after losing Luffy? I don't own One Piece.

Gordon sits idly drinking some tea as he waits patiently for the young blood to come and pick him up at Grove 72. Despite knowing the risks of crossing the lawless area, Gordon knew they could handle themselves. They may get held back a bit since any kidnapper would love to take them in for a pretty penny, but they will be ok. Gordon knows they're strengths, weaknesses, and how strong their bond is when it comes to working together.

"I wonder if I should get more tea." Gordon said as he drank the last of his tea. "I wonder if there is a place where I can have more tea."

Coo! Coo! Coo!

Several News Coos begin to fly through the sky in flocks and drop several newspapers to the people below. This is a sign of breaking news. The ruins of Elegia don't receive newspapers and so Abell would have to go out to sea every two or three weeks to grab some from the Reservoir. Due to this inconvenience, important information doesn't get to Elegia on time, but rather behind by a few weeks. Gordon meant to set up a News Coos to the island, but keeps on putting it off. Abell is connected to the Reservoir so if she needs to, she can always ask them for an update. Gordon picks up one of the newspapers and begins to read the front headline. The old man couldn't believe what he was reading.

"'Fire Fist' Portgas D. Ace has been captured and is planned to be executed in Marineford in a week." Gordon reads. "Did Ace really get captured? Was it Blackbeard? I hope this news doesn't reach Uta and Luffy. At the very least, we'll leave it in his hands."

...hurts...

...so much...

...Luffy...

Woosh! BAM!

"Whoa! Was that an explosion?"

Some bystanders in the lawless area were escaping the chaos and all of the sudden, something slammed into one of the mangrove trees. Everyone looked up to see a giant paw print shaped crater in the side of the mangrove and everyone went up to get a better look.

"That's weird." said one of the men looking up. "I don't see any fire or smoke."

"It's like someone punched that mangrove." someone else added.

"That's impossible. There's no here, but us." another man said.

The man talking felt something drip on his shoulders and he curiously touched it. To his and everyone's shock, the liquid that fell on the man's clothes was blood. Then, a small shadow looms and everyone looks up to see a figure falling from the sky.

THUD!

The figure lands in the middle of the crowd with enough force to make dust fly. After coughing and swiping the dust away, everyone's jaws drop as they see an unconscious girl laying before them, bloodied and beaten. It was Uta. No one recognized her as the well known diva 'Red', but even if they did, their main concern was how she fell from the sky.

"Man, she's beaten up pretty bad." someone noted. "Wonder where she came falling from?"

"You don't think she landed into that mangrove tree, do you?" the man hesitantly asks.

"Who cares, where she came from." one of the men chuckles evilly. "Did you take a look at that face and body? We can make a real killing off of her if we sell her off to a slave house, don't you think?"
