As we found out in the last chapter, Uta was in over her head when she summoned Tot Musica and the result was well, one sided. How will and the others get through this predicament? Will the party be able to pull through or fail into despair before the Demon King of Songs? Read to find out! Due to the length of this chapter, it came out a lot later than expected, but it will be well worth it. Finish the chapter to see a new artwork made by Standreamy! I don't own One Piece.
~A few days before Uta summoned Tot Musica...
"Hey, Gordon, I have a question."
"Hm? What is it, Abell?"
After the meeting regarding facing Tot Musica, Abell has taken the time to seek out Gordon. While the others were talking about some other topics regarding Tot Musica, Abell had a question only the former king would know.
"You and I both know that Uta won't tell us how strong Tot Musica really is, not because she won't but she can't." Abell said with a stern look. "She was absorbed by Tot Musica so it's safe to say she never got to see the whole picture."
Gordon said nothing and turned his back from Abell.
"You were there Gordon and the only true witness left on this island." Abell said, keeping her eyes glued to the old man. "Tell me truthfully, how strong was Tot Musica?"
The old man lets out a sigh and waves finger beckoning Abell to follow him. Abell looks back seeing the rest of her friends chat about the incoming and is certain that Uta is too preoccupied to notice her leave. Abell lived in this mansion for many years and even though this mansion was her home for many years, and even rebuilding this place, she has yet to have seen every room. She had no desire to after all as snooping to find out the secrets of this place isn't her forte. She's not someone like Echo who couldn't resist a secret. Still, Abell can't lie that when Gordon leads her to some staircase she has yet to see, it didn't pique her interest. The pair then walks down a long old hallway which has yet to be renovated and comes across a door which was left to time and is covered in dust and cobwebs. Upon closer inspection, the door was locked by a bronze lock and so Gordon unlocked it with a key that was in his jacket pocket.
"I'm surprised Uta's curiosity didn't get the better of her." Gordon said as he unlocked the door. "With her capabilities and curiosity, a locked door like this shouldn't be the reason why Uta gets into here."
"And why do you sound concerned when you say that?" Abell asks. "You're not hiding anything from her, are you?"
"It would've been more troublesome if Uta found this room if she wasn't aware that she summoned Tot Musica." Gordon said as he opened the door. "However, since she is aware of her actions, I'd say this room would just be bad memories of a pain she has accepted."
"What do you mean?" Abell asks as she follows Gordon inside the old room.
Entering the room, the first thing Abell noticed was the piles and piles of old music sheets. There were even some pinned on the wall. Abell walks over to the wall to observe them and then picks up one of the old sheets only to let off a big cloud of dust causing her to swipe her hand to wave off the dust. Abell isn't as well acquainted with reading music as she is in comparison to Uta or Pitch, but even she can tell that these old music sheets were exceptional.
"What is this place?" Abell asks.
"This is the place where the kingdom's top musicians made their music." Gordon said. "Their own masterpieces were made in this room, but were left unused for many decades."
"Decades? Why is that?" Abell asks.
"Because no song they made could ever rival Tot Musica." Gordon answers as he picks up an old box and moves it towards the wall.
