Chapter 13 - Mine

Wednesday's POV

I woke up on Monday like normal. Ever since I reconnected with Xavier my nightmares have gone away, unfortunately the stalker has not. But if I can solve the mystery of a mind of a teenage boy I can solve a stalker case.

I walked downstairs with Enid and went into the cafeteria
"Wednesday can I ask you something?" Enid asked once we sat down at a table in the courtyard.
"If you must." I replied starting to eat my toast.
"When is it to early to say I love you." My eyes widened. How am I supposed to answer a question like that, Xavier told me he loved me a week after we started dating and I didn't even say it back.

"Ummm I don't know, whenever you want." I replied back in a questioning tone, because i'm not to sure myself.
"It's just I love Ajax but I'm not sure if he loves me so I don't wanna say it and him be like woah! We're over! Am i overthinking? Do i just come out and say it?" You could tell she was overthinking, I mean Enid is a over thinker what do you expect?

"Enid, he loves you. You can see it in his eyes? I don't know but all I know is that, that boy loves you."
I continue to eat my toast after 'comforting' her.
"Thanks Wednesday, and Xavier clearly loves you too." This statement made me spit out my toast, is it that obvious?

Then Xavier and Ajax walked over both greeting us. Xavier kissed my head and sat down with his arm over me, I do have to admit, it gives me a weird feeling in my stomach.
Ajax gave Enid a peck on the lips and then continued to steal her food. Even though he had his own. Though Enid seems to like it as she was blushing like crazy every time he looked at her.

"What class do you guys have first?" Ajax asked us.
"History of supernatural beings." I spoke.
"Cool same." Xavier spoke looking down at me and smiling.
"Well I have Math ugh first period on a Monday great." Enid replied disappointed.
"Hey I have that too, might not be too bad then babe." Ajax smiled at Enid.

After breakfast me and Xavier walk to History hand in hand. Of course everyone was looking at us and whispering. I even heard someone say we were the 'it' couple, whatever that means.
We get to class and sit down next to each other. The teacher continues with his lesson and i'm writing down notes.
Then a note hits my head, Xavier noticing but not saying anything. I look over to see who threw it and it was a boy, I think he is new. I never saw him last year. I death stared him and then opened the note. It wrote:

Hey,
You look very pretty. Go out with me?

- Dylan

Yes 🔳 No 🔳

I could tell Xavier was reading the note over my shoulder because I heard him scoff. So I just handed the note to him and let him write his answer.

He handed the note to 'Dylan' and I saw fear cross his eyes. It made me smirk.
"What did you write." I whispered to Xavier.
"Not much, just letting him know your mine." He replied still looking at the front, though his hand slipped into mine.

I then had class with Enid, it was art so we could talk a bit. I told her about what happened the period before.
"Omg, that's so cute! He's definitely jealous." She smiled at me.
"I guess, at least I know he can scare away unwanted people." I told her.
"I'm gonna do it." She spoke up in the silence.
"Do what?" I replied confused.
"Tell Ajax I love him, it's time we've been dating for 3 months! If he doesn't love me now, he doesn't deserve me." This new Enid impressed me, putting her needs first rather then being too scared to confront people.
"That's good, you should." I replied continuing my painting.

At lunch we sat at the same table with the boys but instead Bianca came over.
"Hey guys." She spoke.
We all said Hey and she sat down next to me. We continued chatting, well I wasn't really bothered talking. So I went on my phone, there was more messages from my stalker. It was us just at lunch. So the stalker isn't Bianca.

School finally ended and I decided I made my decision on the stalker. I need to find them.
The best way to do that, by joining a organisation that knows everything about this school. The Nightshades.
So I texted Xavier.

dorm at 9 pm

I started walking to Xavier's dorm and made it exactly at 9pm. Knocking on his door. He opened it and smiled at me.
"Hey the meeting doesn't start till 10 so we can hang." He spoke.
"Oh ok." I thought the meeting would be earlier but hanging out with my boyfriend won't be bad.
"Why do you even wanna come to the meeting, didn't you reject us?" He asked sitting down on the bed. His hair was down and he wore the red shirt that night he and Bianca was in his room. I got a bit distracted looking at him that I forgot he was looking at me.
"Come on, I know i'm so good looking." He said sarcastically smiling.

"I need help from the nightshades with the stalker." I said. He seemed to take it as a valid excuse and didn't press for anymore questions.
"Soo are you just gonna stand there at the door or?" He asked.
"Oh yeah," I walked and sat down at his bed next to him. He smiled at then hugged me on the bed laughing in my hair.
I was smiling though he couldn't see it thank god.
"Hold up I have something for you." He told me getting up and going to his desk.
"Another painting?" I wondered, it's normally his gifts.
"Nope, though my paintings are amazing." He handed me a box. It was a large black box, I looked up and raised my eyebrows in question.
"Come on open it."
So I did, and my heart stopped when I did. It was the necklace I fell in love with at that store. He must of bought it when I was calling my mother.

"Thank you Xavier, I love it." I looked up at him. That's not the only thing I love. I stood up closely to him.
"And I... I love you Xavier." I said. He smiled at me and pulled me in closing the gap an sharing a loss kiss.

"I love you too Wednesday." He said. Thankfully he didn't dwell on it and change the subject.

"Wanna see my sketchbook?" He asked
