Chapter 14 - Nightshades

Wednesday's POV

Me and Xavier were now sitting on his bed flipping through his sketchbook, with him explaining every idea and story behind each sketch. It was quite interesting and I wasn't bored like I expected to be

I found the sketch that I found the night I investigated Xavier's room.
"This one, is well you." He spoke looking at me.
"I know, I saw it the night Bianca came to your room." I admitted.
"Ahh, I figured since I don't remember flipping to that sketch." He smiled at me.
I just sat there smirking at him blushing a bit. So he knew I was in his room and didn't mention it?

Xavier checks his watch. "It's time let's go."
"Don't you need your purple cloak." I asked sarcastically.
"Nah, that's only for like secret things." He told me waking down the stairs.
We arrive at the secret library to find everyone already there. Bianca already knew I was coming since I told her at fencing.
"You wanted to talk?" She asked.
"Yes, I am being stalked. I don't know who but all I know is that they are a student." Looking around the room, everyone seemed confused but for some reason Yoko couldn't meet my eyes. Interesting.

I spent the night explaining what's been happening and keeping an eye on Yoko's reaction. Once everyone was leaving to get back to their room I whispered in Yoko's ear.
"Stay here or I will follow you." That made her stay put.
"Hey you coming?" Xavier asked form up the stairs.
"No, I just need to check something, I'll come up to your dorm after." I told up looking up.
"Ok see you." He said exiting.

"Cute couple." Yoko spoke up.
I turned around and marched towards her.
"You know something, that's why you refused to meet my eyes." I stared at her.
"No I don't, maybe I just don't want to look at you?"
"Thing," I called. Thing came over and handed me a knife.
"Now, answer my question, Truthfully." I spoke raising the knife to her throat.
"Fine! It's me, I've been taking photos of you to give to someone, they offered me money, I couldn't refuse!" She told me tearing up from the pressure of the knife.
"Who do you give the photos too?" I asked her.
"I don't know! They contacted me on social media, never telling me there name! Look I'll show you the messages." She showed me the messages and I got thing to take photos on my phone.

"Fine, but if I find out you withheld information from me, I will get to use that knife." I death stared her walking away heading to Xavier's room.

Wednesday entered Xavier's room to find that the shower was running. So she laid down in his bed closing her eyes momentarily. She opened her eyes when she heard the door open.
"Hey I didn't hear you come in." He hopped on the bed next to me and put his hands around my waist.
That feeling in my stomach keeps coming back.

"Xavier." I turned to face him. Deciding to tell him about Yoko, but she didn't want to put extra pressure in the moment so she quickly changed her mind.
"Yes Nes," He smiled at me.
"Your...Your a really great boyfriend." I told him.
He started laughing causing me to laugh too.
"And your a really great girlfriend." He said after laughing.
"I got to go, Enid is probably wondering where I am." I told him standing up and kissing him goodbye.

I walk to my dorm feeling.. nice? Is this what boyfriends do, make you feel good about yourself?
I walk into my dorm to see Enid crying on my bed.
"What wrong?" I ask walking towards her.
"I told Ajax I love him and he just froze! Like these past 3 months meant nothing! I mean how stupid could I be to believe he loved me!" She was screaming, probably out of rage and embarrassment.
I sat down next to her.
"Well, he's stupid and a idiot to not love you. You deserve better." I told her.
"Thank you Wednesday." She then hugged me crying into my shoulder. I hugged her back because come on, i'm not a monster.

The next day I walked up to Xavier and Ajax. Xavier smiled at me but I just death stared Ajax.
"What is wrong with you. Enid tells you she loves you and you say nothing? I knew you were stupid but I never knew you were obvious." I told him.
"I know I messed up but I do love her, it's just a part of me couldn't believe she loved me back!" He pleaded to me.
"Well you better tell her because she is one year away from wolfing out." I told him.
"Your right I should umm I should go up there." He ran up stairs to our dorm.

"Sooo, your quite the cupid." Xavier said hugging me from behind.
"No, it's just some boys are stupid with their feelings." I said.
"Like me?" He asked smirking.
"Maybe." I said looking up.
We shared a short kiss and then made our way to class.
