——————————— I woke up in Xavier's arms. He was stroking my hair. "Sorry, did I wake you." He spoke. "It's alright, I need to wake up anyway." I spoke looking up at him. "Ok I'm gonna have a shower." He replied kissing me and then going into the bathroom. I laid in bed checking my phone. I texted Lurch saying to pick me up in 2 hours. It was 11 am. So I would be leaving at 1 pm.
I watched Enid's story about how she is not doing anything exciting for Christmas. It was just her ranting on how it's going to just be her and her parents. Maybe I should get mother and father to book the cabin. I called my Parents. "Hello my little dark cloud, I heard that you went over to the Thorpe's! I see you finally came to your senses." Father spoke. "Yes I did. I want you to book the cabin for Christmas. If you can." I replied. "Of course darling, anything for you. How many people are going." Mother spoke. If Enid comes, Ajax would to, and I guess I could invite Xavier.
"At most 3." I replied. "Ok, see you when you get home!" My parents said as I hung up. Xavier exited the bathroom after the call. He came and sat next to me on the bed. "About Christmas." I spoke up. "What about it." He replied. "Moth and Father are renting a cabin. I was going to invite Enid, she will probably invite Ajax. I don't want to 3rd wheel. Will you come?" He could tell I was trying to ask him without making a big deal about it. "Of course I'll come Nes." He replied smiling and then kissing me. I smiled back, everything was normal again.
I had a shower and changed back into my now dry pajamas from last night. I walked downstairs and saw Xavier making breakfast. He made me a plate when I sat at the counter and then sat down next to me eating his breakfast. "So what do you want for Christmas?" He asked me. "You want to get me something for Christmas?" I asked him smiling. "Of course, gotta treat my girl." He replied giving me a short kiss. "My girl huh." I asked raising my eyebrows. He just smiled at me. "I don't know what I want." I replied after thinking about it. "Ok I'll surprise you." He laughed. He walked over to me and grabbed my waist looking down at me.
"Oh god I love you." He told me. I raised my eyebrows. "I love you too, why are you in such a good mood?" "Can't a guy just be happy to be with his girlfriend." He hugged me. I hugged back and we just stood there for a while. I got a text from Lurch saying he was outside.
"That's Lurch, I got to go." I spoke starting to walk outside. Xavier followed me and stopped at the door. "Ok text me the details about the cabin." He gave me a kiss goodbye and I started walking towards the car. "Goodbye cara mia." He yelled out jokingly making me smirk.
I entered the car. "Go Lurch." He started driving and I was texting Enid about how I'm back with Xavier. Apparently the in the rain moment was like a movie in her opinion. She also told me she wants to come to the cabin and I told her should invite Ajax. She was very grateful for that.
I arrived home and greeted my parents. "You can tell you friends that you can pick them up, we're renting you a limo! Isn't that great." Mother spoke. "Really Mother." I asked. "Of course my danger, we want you to have a great time." Father spoke. "Like me and your father when we were young." Then they went back to be all over each other. That was my cue to leave.
I went into my room and texted everyone the details. They all seemed very excited, I was the only one who was not excited. I'm only doing this because Xavier was going to spend Christmas alone and Enid was going to spend it with her 'miserable' parents in her words.
I had 3 days until we had to go. We were going to spend 4 days there from the day before Christmas eve to boxing day. Great. I laid down in my bed and rested my head. Taking in the events that had happen the night before. I fixed my mistake, I would never make it again.
I woke up at 12 am, I must of slept throughout the entire afternoon. I had a missed call from someone. It was only 30 minutes ago so I called them back.
Ring.. Ring...

Ajax I don't know what to get Enid for Christmas! I don't want to get her clothes and her not like it so I was going to get her makeup but I still don't know.
Wednesday Really. This is what you called about? Enid is obsessed with things called 'squishmallows' and she wants the new taylor swift album. I'm getting her a vinyl player, if you get her a couple vinyls and a squish thing. Then you'll get a gift.
Ajax Thanks so much Wednesday, anything else?
Wednesday Jewellery. Goodbye Ajax.
I hung up the phone and decided I still didn't know what to get Xavier. Fidgeting with the necklace he gave me gave me an idea. A ring.
The next day I went to the nearest town and walked into the Jewellery store. The sales woman greeted me. "Hello, how may I help you." She smiled at me, obviously wanting my money. "Hello, I would like to buy a ring for my.... friend." I replied. "Is this friend a boy or a girl?" She asked. "A boy." She guided me over to the men's rings and I looked around.
I saw it. It was a ring that matched my necklace. It had the same black stones in it and a silver band.

"Can I see that one?" I asked pointing to it. "Of course." She pulled it out and I knew it was the right one to buy. So I exited the store with a gift bag. I looked for a gift for Ajax and settled with a new beanie for him and some chocolates. It would be unfair not to get him a present, and Enid would get mad at me.
I went home and the next few days past by. Now I found myself packing my bags into the limo as my parents said goodbye. "Goodbye darling." My mother kissed my cheek. "Good luck my little storm cloud. Merry Christmas." Father spoke. Pugsley gave me a hug goodbye, I half put my arm around him. Just because I hug a few people does not mean it is becoming a habit.
I stepped into the limo. It was massive with a black leather interior and rainbow lights. "To the Thorpe's Lurch." I told him. And off he drove.
